Pac is broke. Arum has kept 99.99% of his earnings. Arum puts him in debt, tax problems, etc. then he bails him out, but then makes him pay by deducting almost everything he has. Then Arum tells Pac, you say anything, I'll report you to IRS and you'll be in jail, and I'll also report your PEDs usage and you'll be in jail longer. So, Pac gives in, "Okay, take my millions (under the table)".
I do think Arum has ripped off Pac for years and really has him over a barrel. That's why he should have left Arum like Oscar and PBF did when they got the chance. I know I've talked a lot of **** about Pac and his fans over the years but I hate to see a badly faded Pac getting the crap beat out of him. Sad really.
That's Arum's plan. Horn first then passing the torch fight against Manny. Crawford's 2018 will be disappointing I'm afraid. Maybe he'll squeeze in a 3rd fight, I'm not sure. This is why I don't think Crawford-Spence will happen, by that time Spence will move up to 154. We'll be lucky to get Crawford-Thurman.
If it happens it will be pacquiao's first knockout win in nine years. Rios tko3 Alvarado Provodnikov also stopped Alvarado.
Not defending Arum, but if Pacquiao wants/needs the prize money, let him chase it, he's a grown man who has all his senses. Loma has the potential to be a star, I think he should stick with proven promoters.
It sounds like a safe fight, but when you’re shot to **** no fight is safe. Look at what happened with Horn. Manny is finished, and I guess Manny won’t get it until he’s got a few more L’s to journeymen.
Kinda sad that Pacs career has come to this... but hey, at the same time Im glad he can be earning good money for such easy fights now that hes on his way out. Its not like hes got a choke hold on a division and is holding it hostage... I think most know that at this point he is a spent force (still formidable, no doubt) but that hes on his way out, I dont have a problem with him padding his accounts while taking as little punishment as possible if hes not a champion or holding a division hostage. Its just kinda sad to see that this is where his legendary career has come to and that he couldnt retire sooner.
Unfortunately Pac will be one of those fighters who cant leave until they are forced out.......... Pac makes money then spends nearly all of it on charity then fights "for his people" a vicious cycle that cant end
