The Hamed who fought Barrera was coming from a fractured hand vs Sanchez; he took the fight because they offered him a mountain of $$ without realizing it would take him a lot longer to get in shape, and Ingle wasn't there anymore to protect him from his own foolishness.

There's no surprise he came dead at the weight and got rightly pasted.

    Hamed's own doing.

The fact Naz has basically 0 fundamentals means he toils vs most elite guy's. His style was found to be clumsy and vulnerable when he fought elite technicians. Pac is not just elite he's a great of his era and would beat Naz handily. Naz always has the power to get the ko so he has that chance going for him. If they fought 4 times Naz would probably win one by ko.

Pacquiao had great foot work??? when was this. he could barely keep his feet underneath him most of the time back then. always leaning too far over and leaving himself vulnerable and out of position.

Hamed had a great chin. don't forget who has actually been knocked out in their fights more than once.

Naz did get dropped, but it was always down to balance, not having weak whiskers. Naz has never been really hurt in a fight. Manny has been hurt plenty of times.

LOL, so Pac is a "technician" ?

Is that the reason he can't cut off the ring, has no defense against a straight right, is wide open for counters, has fast feet but lousy footwork, has no jab / can't deal with a jab and last but not least cannot adapt aka poor ring IQ.

Yeah you are right, he is a "technician"......lol.........he can't box fo ****, he overwhelms his opponents........if he can't he is in deep ****.

BTW, this is a 50/50 fight, one thing for sure, Nas just might take Pac;s moneyshot and keep on ticking , the same cannot be said for Pac............if Nas lands one of his home runs Pac needs the sniffing salt again.

    Pac hater, huh ?

Naz was dropped and hurt by regional fighters not particularly known for their punching power ; but he got up and won because he had great recuperative powers.

Pac got stopped because he was not fighting in his natural weight class.
At feather, he stood up to Barrera's, Morales' and Marquez punches without ever touching the canvas.

About the same these two ARE FLAWED SOUTHPAW with leaky defense. Both got the punch to take each other out. NAz has a chinny chin. Pacquiao can be taken out with one shot.

Who's tougher? Pacquiao. Interesting fight. To me it's 50/50.

Chinny fighters don't fight balls to the walls like Hamed did; Naz chin was around average, but certainly not what one would call chinny.

And to be fair to Pac, he asked to be kod by walking unprotected in Marquez windmill, much like Hatton walked in unprotected in Pac's zone.

Anyone in the same situation would have been kod too.

Hamad by delvestating rating KO. At 126 Hamad too big, hits way harder, better at everything.

I agree Naz is underrated on here, however I'd still favor Pac by a decent margin on the scorecards.

At 122 I think that's a little high for Pacquiao. Top 10 I could agree with but lower half probably. I just don't think he had enough big fights there to be ranked as high as 2.

I agree Gomez is number 1 though. :good

I think Pacquiao wins this one.. His featherweight version is a monster on the ring, only few guys make it to the final round.. That version of him did not even hit the canvass despite the level of opposition..

    Pacquaio UD Hamed.. :smoke

And let's not forget Hamed never fought the high level opposition Pac was accustomed to.
That's a huge factor, as we saw in the Kelley fight.

how is that being a Pac hater? some people, eh. truth is truth.

tell me which fighters dropped Naz? give me names and times in the fight that they hurt Hamed? :think because i smell bull**** with you. i don't think you know much of anything about Naz.

Marquez didn't put much into his punches when he fought the first time against Pac. he just boxed off the back foot.

Morales was well past his best also. but even then, Morales was never a puncher in the first place.

Barrera didn't land anything either. he was too busy getting beat down because he couldn't handle the speed any more.

so not really a good argument for Pac's chin at Featherweight i'm afraid.
