I am not saying you are wrong, because I don't know either way, but no article reporting on this is calling it an exhibition.

    Where are you seeing this?

    Edit: I see it now.

Perhaps this is the unseen result of the YouTube and Tyson exhibition? Actual active boxers taking g part in them against each other. Weird

No way can this be an exhibition.

Would be an utter joke of a spectacle and would soil their names and the event.

I have a hard time believing they would stoop this low for what is an otherwise legitimately appealing fight.

A huge lmao if this really is an exhibition. Would be in boxings hall of shame lol.

This ain’t tennis or ping pong, fighting is different. I wouldn’t put this kin in with Manny, even old Manny. He’s not ready and Manny is too big and strong. Ryan is on the right track progressing nicely. He would be foolish to get in the ring with Pac. He’s looking for a fight with Tank and Haney will fight him. Much better options for a young guy with growing popularity. Pac would be foolish, even if it’s an exhibition.

I love Manny, I picked him to beat Thurman after all, but he's been out of the ring a long time, and he's 42, and the one thing Ryan has on his side is speed, and that snappy sharp as hell left hook. And that might be all he needs, because whether people want to admit it or not, Kingry hits like a Mack Truck, and when was the last time Manny fought at 140?

It's for the casual...not for us on ESB. We know that an exhibition is a joke, the casual don't. This will get eyeballs and get them a whole bunch of money plus it doesn't risk their pro record so it protects Garcia.

Only insofar as it's old v young and Pac v Mexican.

When Pac fight ODLH he was in his prime and ODLH was in his 30s.

RG is still very young and Pac is in his 40s

    I'm going Pac by KO

No point of this fight really. Haney Garcia was there to be made. I feel like Garcia would rather lose his 0 to Pacquiao than Haney.

I think the "exhibition" tag came from Tank, who is understandably talking his ****.

If this does go down, it confirms that A) Senator Pac is cashing out (no surprise there) and B) Garcia is considered a bigger draw for a cashout fight than McGregor or anybody else whose name was floated (pretty surprising given that he hasn't beat anyone of note yet).

As for the fight, a lot of fans are saying it'll be a one sided Pacquiao KO or beatdown, but I'm not so sure... Garcia has tremendous powder at 135 and that power is likely to carry to 140+. Also, he's patient with it and not afraid to get eat some flurries to get his left off. Obviously, Pac has the edge in experience & technique to make it a blowout, but he's bound to have slowed down at 42 and he'll probably be instructed to fight cautiously all night to steer clear of that counter left hook. It's a 50/50 or damn close, imo.

Manny wins at 147 without much difficulty. If he has to drop weight, it's a difficult call

WBA better strip Pac of his title if this fight happens. He's holding up possible unifications.

Nah, various boxing source i.e. Steve Kim, Michael Benson, Coppinger have confirmed that it is a EXHIBITION.

Al Haymon has one fight left with Pacquiao...so I'm not shocked that Davis would know.

Nah....Ryan isn't great enough to do the same thing as Pacquiao did to De La Hoya. He will get beaten for the first time in his life.
