Manny isn`t faster or motre powerful than Garcia he just has more savvy, Garcia will never be the legend Manny is even if he wins this.
Not interested in this. Imo active fighters should not be fighting in exhibitions. Pac should be pursuing crawford, spence, ect, while Rye should be pursuing Davis and other names in his division.
For single shots and 3-5 punch combos, I've still got Manny. Of course, I mean this in spurts. He can't sustain this all 12 rounds of a fight anymore. And he hits harder than García, dummy. Manny would drop Luke Campbell 3-5X and that's if Luke survives the first KD.
Pacquiao would absolutely kill Ryan Garcia if they were in a match. Manny has waaaay more experience and doesn't look away when punches are being thrown at him, Garcia has some many flaws that the moment round one starts, he would hit the canvas XD. Flaw Garcia has nothing the Filipino who fought many great boxers. MANNY WILL WIN POINT PERIOD!
Yeah I really don't think this is a good idea for Ryan Garcia. He is still a young and up and coming prospect. Pacquiao is not the kind of fighter you want to move up multiple weight classes to face. The combination of speed and power even at Pac's advanced age will give RG problems. Look what Pacquiao did to Keith Thurman. This decision could seriously derail Ryan Garcia's trajectory.
Ryan García can take a KO loss from Pac and still go on to do big business and become a bigger star. He's like 22 years old.
Pac fans if Ryan gets KO’d: Pac is an ATG, what did you expect would happen? Pac fans if Ryan KO’s Pac: Pac is an old guy, what did you expect would happen? Ryan should still take the fight and a KO to Manny will not harm his career. It might give guys like Tank an excuse to duck him or claim A side because “he got dat loss” but those guys are masters of excuses and would find another reason to avoid Ryan. Just don’t expect any credit when you beat old Pac. He looked good against Thurman but I’m not sure Thurman was the same guy he once was, pre injury and long layoff. I don’t like these types of fights, especially when there are so many other “real” fights at LW for Garcia. This is a sideshow fight. Not for me.
That isn't the concern here, at least for me. Ryan could never recover mentally from what happens in that ring. He could find out real quick that he isn't who he thought he was, and have his own mental expectations come crashing back down to earth.
