Wrestling. Pavlik tries to hit while holding but isn't connecting much. Lopez is just coming in at angles (other than straight, which seems to be all Pavlik can deal with) and flurrying into Kelly's face before clasping him tightly and making him waste gas trying to get loose. Lopez holds him around the neck. Mora calls for a break and Lopez backs away with his hands down. A single right hand lands for Pavlik, but not with any great impact. Lopez blocks a left hook with the back of his wrist and then flurries into Kelly's face some more. 1-2 by Lopez at short range. Pavlik holds Lopez for a moment and then releases him with a left hook to remember him by. Lopez takes it well and circles away for the remainder of the round.

Lopez attacks ferociously, bombing Pavlik with lefts and rights curling in to the side of his head. Lopez is looking very strong and confident in this final frame. Pavlik now lands a stiff jab and a good left hook as well, with Lopez hanging on the inside. Lopez laughs as he's leaning into Pavlik. The action doesn't get any prettier as they break and lean together repeatedly. Lopez looks to land a right hand but gets whacked again with a straight one from Pavlik. Another one. Lopez is wobbly. Lopez holds. Pavlik is blasting him hard making him hold on for dear life.

10-9 Pavlik, stole it back.
