Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley & undercard RBR

Round 9

Pacquiao darts in with a lead left to the body. Mosley stays just outside of his reach as the crowd's booing intensifies to match Kenny Bayless' personality. Pacquiao touches gloves with Mosley after a head clash signaled by Kenny. Pacquiao is throwing high right jabs with hard left crosses behind them and appeasing the Romans with his gladiatorial display. Unfortunately Mosley is not matching his aggression. Pacquiao gets knocked back with the force of a blocked right hand. Pacquiao chases with a lead left and catches Mosley, not quite flush.

 

Round 10

MP is trading jabs with Mosley, and lunging in wildly. It's appreciated by the crowd but not scoring effectively. Mosley himself is landing nothing - and throwing next to it, just a few jabs. He is making Pacquiao look sub-par, however. Pacquiao now drives in a bit more purposefully and whips his hands underneath the guard of Mosley. PACQUIAO DOWN! Bayless applies the count, but it may have been a shove. Pacquiao is pissed. Mosley circles left and keeps Pacquiao ahead of his jab. Pacquiao cannonballs into Mosley and catches him with a big left hand. Mosley tries to prop his elbows up and shield himself.

Round 11

Pacquiao has become the buzzsaw. Pacquiao is all over Mosley, and the 40 year old looks very uncomfortable. Mosley gets rocked with a left hand lead while trying to circle away, unable to neutralize the speed. Pacquiao thrusts his right jab out high. Mosley stays defensive, pawing with some jabs. Pacquiao surges in with both fists blazing and gets grabbed. Mosley is hit in the stomach and face with two quick left hands. Mosley keeps throwing his arms around the Filipino trying to squeeze him into inertia. Mosley turns his body with a lazy hook, shirking Pacquiao off with his forearm and momentum. Mosley has learned some tricks from his time in the ring with Sergio Mora, spoiling like crazy. Pacquiao smacks him with two right jabs before the bell, maybe marking his face up and drawing a little blood..
