Round 10

Gallo comes out swinging hard. Good uppercuts. Flurries. Just hard honest punching by Gallo, and wrestling Mayol into the corners whenever he starts to back away. Good body shots by Gallo. Mayol seems to be allowing Gallo whatever he wants to land to the body as long as he's not open for head shots, feeling he can just run and grab his way to a points victory. Gallo keeps slapping away and holding Mayol in tight. Good uppercut again by Gallo. Mayol is just slappin ghim on the back a bit and then tying up. Gallo is doing the lion's share of the punching. Gallo backhands a jab away and gets back inside to land some more to the body. Mayol lands one more big right hand that momentarily turns Gallo's legs into jelly but he stays up. Gallo grabs him one more time but doesn't get much off on the inside.

Definite Gallo round, 10-9

I'm a little bummed about not seeing Jonathan Gonzalez.

Hopefully there are some early knockouts on the PPV card and we do get to see him, or else RIPOFF!!!! :twisted:

Mike Alvarado vs. Ray Narh about to begin.

I'm right there with you; if ESB goes in the gutter I'm out.

If it takes me more than 10 minutes to try and push a post through, that's it. (and sadly that isn't close to how long it has taken me in the past on big fight nights).

 

Round 1

Alvarado rushes in and takes jabs on his forearms. Narh backs up, letting the jab fly while he's in motion. Narh ties up. Alvarado is getting inside but not doing much punching. There's a left hook to the body. Narh tries to greet him with an uppercut but just clips some pectoral flesh. Alvarado forces a right hand through until he gets tied up again. Narh sticks his left forearm out to let Alvarado run into it and get hung up on it. Narh throws another uppercut to the chest. Narh backs up and jabs, and hooks upward while crossing his legs over.

Pretty close round. Alvarado didn't seem in a rush to do much.

 

At least this current one (scheduled for 10, just ended the 1st).

It's either next, or after Vazquez-Arce (12).

 

Round 2

Alvarado is upjabbing pretty loosely. Narh is dancing out of the way on the outside and grabs Alvarado when he rushes in. Narh push-jabs while backing up, which seems to be a calling card of his. Alvarado lands a hard jab while chasing. Narh is circling wide, very negative. He slips a few jabs but gets wiped with a high right hand. Alvarado is starting to club away with his power. Narh is holding a lot. Alvarado is throwing more punches and landing a bit, and backing Narh up. A couple of nice big right hands by Alvarado down the stretch to put the finishing touches on it.
