    what a lame finish,he looked frightened in that last round almost scared he was gonna get knocked out, a decent shot to the eye which left him with a slight cut was enough to convince himself to quit.new it would'nt be long before John "penny for your thoughts (Bob Arum)" Rawling got that line in (

    Pavlik vs. Lopez

    Round 1

    Big left hook by Kelly. Lopez stays on the outside, leaning off to his right. Jab by Lopez. Pavlik just turns and watches. Lopez changes direction and is walking backwards. Looping right hand by Lopez, and he ducks a Pavlik jab. Right to the body by Pavlik. Lopez is pretty much staying outside and defending. Pavlik gets in one right hand upstairs, and is actually landing much better with the left hook. Pavlik doubles the ****ing jab and throws an accidental rabbit punch - and gets warned. Lopez flurries his way inside and eats a right hand.

    Pavlik has a nice bounce about him, but Lopez was able to land leather. Pavlik landed more leather to win the round, though. Pavlik needs to tighten up that D.

    Pavlik doesn't have the same "sting" he used to have. He used to walk guys down and bust them up. He doesn't seem to have the ability to do that anymore. Whether it's his confidence, or that Hopkins beat the youth out of him, he just isn't the same guy he used to be.
