Manny doesn't have to take it, but nothing in his whole career shows me he wouldn't be phased by it and that he wouldn't get caught in an exchange at some point.

Aside from speed there is no advantage Manny has over Shane at at 147, Shane is too strong. Sorry but this fight wouldn't even be competitive.

anything is possible but i can guarantee you he wouldnt walk through mosley like he did to hatton. Mosley is much stronger and much more technical. Id give shane the slight edge in experience

    OK...got the point. :D

Along with Shane's strength are his skills and speed too. Not to mention SHane has one of the best chins in boxing. Fairly sure he can take Pac's best, but can Pac take Shane's best? Million dollar question.

true pac has gotten better going up in weight. He still has the speed and surprisingly still have the power too. I thought his power is not as effective at a higher weight class after witnessing how many shots it took before diaz went down but after witnessing what he did to delahoya and hatton. Im convince he can hang with the big boys:D

That's what all the nonbelievers say until fight night, then they talk how old, weight drained and washed up, etc. his opponents become afterwards.

    Not competitive? LOL! OK. :D

at a weight closer to 140, pac has a very good chance. pac is a very small WW so fighting mosley @147 will give pac too much of a size disadvantage. if mosley wants to fight the #1 p4p, he should be willing to fight at 140 or a catchweight of around 143. and as long as their difference in fighting weights is 5 lbs. or less, i give pac a very good shot at beating mosley. ricky outweighed pac by 4 lbs. in their fight.

I think SSM is just way too good to be steamrolled by Pac, and that the size difference would be too much.

Not to mention, SSM can take a punch better than almost anyone in the game.

just like you people guaranteed that he Hatton wouldn't look like a slow zombie against Pac

this stuff is meaningless, if Pac chooses to box, he is extremely hard to catch, and now it's been proven that he even has more then enough power and chin to bang with the best (or atleast at 140), Pac's more well rounded then Mosley is, and he's got time on his side, Mosley looked fast against Margarito, but he didn't look fast against Cotto, cuzz he's younger and faster, Pac and Roach aren't idiots, they're not going to go in there and try to walk through Mosley, they will focus on outboxing him, and honestly, i dont think Mosley will ever catch him once Manny hits his rhytm...

Mosley will probabbly be the betting favorite, but i'd put my money on Manny making Shane look his age

If pac is gonna retire at the end of the year, I would really like to see this as his last fight and at 147lbs...I know its a very difficult task but pac has nothing to lose here and if he wins, wow, what a legacy he will have and the opportunity to become 7weight division champion(history) and will have a good debate in becoming ATG#1.....

At 143.5, Mosley being drained is as big a factor as Pac being bloated. Pac wouldn't move all the way up for Mosley, especially as Mosley would be making big money in this fight and has expressed an interest. I think Pacquiao wins this one with more precise punching and speed.

exactly, Mosley would be that much slower if this fight happened, it wouldn't be a good fight for Shane at all, he looked in spectatcular shape for his last fight and it took him 2 times to actually make 147, not to mention he ended up weighin in at 160+ lbs, he'd have to kill himself to make 143-144

but i still think the fight would be worth making, Shane would make alot of money and Pac would be adding another legend to his resume, as well as the #1 WW in the world

Rather watch Mosley Vs. Mayweather Jr.
Than a Pac fght Vs. either.

Rather liking the possibility of a Cotto Vs. Pacquaio fight.
(Let's see if Miguel can come thru with Clottey)

Mosley is too big and powerful.
