Say Norris was around today and challenged Pac for his 150lb title and eventually a catchweight of 148.5lbs was agreed who would you pick to win?

Norris beats everybody at 154 and below in todays game.

I dont think he ever fought below 150 so no catchweight.

Also because he is that good he wouldnt have to meet anybody at a catchweight to get paid.

Terry is an awesome fighter ... but he has one weakness. Huge punchers who can land it. It's the kind of fight that will probably end in a stoppage, I just think Pac takes a much much better punch than Terry, who lost several times in his prime and whose best win was against a very diminished SRL.

Strong fast punchers were Norris' nightmare, regardless of the way the Mugabi fight went.

Wrong. He fought Meldrick Taylor at a catchweight of 151.5 pounds and both came in at 149 pounds.

But of course, the common notion is that Pac invented catchweights.

Thanks , I didnt know that.

I thought Meldrick just moved up to 154 .

    Norris looked a lot bigger.

KO 4th round I think??? havent checked boxrec , just from memory , might be wrong.

Norris found a way to lose to santana twice. heh heh heh heh heh heh heh. Pac has all kinds of luck, Norris none. I think Pac's supernatural luck will also carry the day, Norris has nothing but bad luck. Any time it might not have gone his way, it didn't.

Norris would probably not defeat Cotto, Mayweather, Pac, Alvarez, they are too strong for him. With the exception of Mugabi, the best fighters he beat were welters moving up past their prime, and one knocked him out in their first fight., Simon Brown. Sugar Ray was long gone by the time he fought Norris. Norris was very good, and after the devestating KO by one of the hardest punching Jr. Mid and Mid in history, Julian Jackson, be went on to defeat a lot of past their prime big name fighters, and as long as he kept his chin protected to dominated them. Unfortunately, he is a wreck now. Very sad for a once dominate champion.

I think Norris is being undersold here. Pac at 150 is nowhere near the level of Jackson in terms of power and probably not on the level of Brown either. Norris was an outstanding boxer, and generally feasted on smaller fighters when he had physical advantages. He managed to beat plenty of punchers too, including Mugabi, Brown (rematch) and Pettway. His chin was below average, but not quite the liability some people make out.

Norris was inconsistent and not someone you would ever bet the house on, but the odds favour him in this one.

I don't know if itll be by KO but its definitely a Norris win. Why pair him up against great JMWs? he's only fought there once and not really
