At 135 he loses to Whitaker, Duran, Mayweather and Arguello.

I could see Benitez being a really unfavorable style matchup for Pacquiao. Like a very convincing 9-3 type win for Benitez on his best night.

 

I could too, but I tend to think that Benítez was a little fragile and green at 140. He was 17 after all.

 

Arguello all wrong for Pacquiao I agree. Arguello struggles against movers, but Pacquiao isn't hard to find. He's coming right at you. Stylistically Arguello has the advantage.

Pacquiao should be favored over Whitaker. Pac feasts on guys with no power. And he feasts on quick, movers like Whitaker. Guys who want to box and move like Algieri or Ledwaba type fighters get stomped by Pac. And as for Mayweather, well he has more pop than Whitaker and a better right hand so he stands a better chance, but Pac in his prime is coming. He better be ready to bite down on his mouthpiece and take it. Because it's not like it's going to be the same old Pac who lands a hard shot and drives Mayweather to the ropes and then nothing happens. Pac will light you up like Christmas tree if you put on earmuffs against the ropes.

Of course he beats Chavez. Pacquiao loves fighting swarmers. You can't swarm Pac, you need to box and hold your ground and throw straight rights.
