Agreed,,,,maybe Mosley. Montreal Duran? he executes a smaller fighter who lunges in when he punches. Manny is overrated at 147
Floyd Mayweather. 50 - 50 Pernell Whitaker. .....50 - 50 Shane Mosley. Pac wins Felix Trinidad...........Pac wins Roberto Duran.........Pac loses Sugar Ray Leonard...Pac loses Thomas Hearns.......Pac loses
Pacquiao-hating troll thread from a INCEL. Duran has shown quit. Pac is one of the hardest guys in boxing to pin down and people that do manage to pin him down get punished Duran could very well be flustered by Pac's in and out, speed, and angles.
Floyd gets his share of hate too, it is what it is If these forums existed 40 years ago Duran, Leonard and Hearns would also be getting hate
Duran showed quit against Ray who is much better than someone like Floyd He also pushed beasts like Hagler close and Roberto is extremely heavy handed I acknowledge your points about mannys speed and he is very hard to cut down. However, Duran had good speed himself and he could get a fighter on the ropes If Roberto got Manny to the ropes, his fight with margarito would seem a happy memory I admit I'm biased to Duran, just like Maradona I think both guys could walk on water. It's funny that both were before my time, or at least their primes, yet they are my favourite athletes For me Roberto beats Floyd and manny on the same night, but Inoue is a bridge too far lol
Can only see him beating Mosley. Anyone else on that list would have a pretty straight forward path to victory, Pac would have to be exceptional on the night just to avoid getting embarrassed never mind winning
The version of Mosley who clearly defeated DLH the first time around is at least 50/50 to beat the best version of 147lb Pac. Think I might deviate from others on this thread and peg Tito as the easiest guy for Pac to defeat.
He has a Chance against Mosely and Tito. I think Pacs style meshes well with Mosely and Tito. The others not so much. If I'm wrong, I'm sure the more knowledgeable folks on this site will correct me.
Sugar Ray Leonard has the best chance at beating everyone on the list. He beat 2 and the daddy of the other.
It would be a great fight but the Roberto Duran is an atg inside fighter. Pacs not and the question is. Can he prevent it from being an inside fight? I think not, add in Duran's ability to cut of the ring and counterpunch and I think he comes out on top in an entertaining fight. On the other hand Pac liked fighters that came foreward so he might do better than one might expect.
Ray does match up nicely with everyone however, if fight 1 vs Hearns was in the 12 round era, he could be 0-1-1 against him (and really 0-2 because he definitely lost the rematch)
