Manny is still very fast and carries excellent pop in his punches. Even after KTFO6, his advance age, and his diminutive size (5' 4"), NO ONE has tried to pressure, walk down, or attempt to KO Manny. Leading up to the fight, Vargas promised to go to war, but then decided to box and got badly outboxed. Vasyl, on the other hand, applies CONSTANT, BUT INTELLIGENT PRESSURE. Vasyl creates action while being defensively responsible, but can he handle the angles, speed, and power of Manny? Manny FEASTS on pressure dudes. The incredibly nteresting dynamic here is that both guys are fast southpaws and both guys LOVE spinning to their opponent's left side after launching an attack in order to attack from positions where the other guy is unable to counter. I don't think Vasyl can KO Manny (Vargas hit Manny w/ some nuclear right hands and wasn't able to stun/drop him). But I think Manny could KO Vasyl. Manny by KO for me.
Pointless. Lomachenko despite being a P4P fighter today has not proven to be able to take on such a task, in fact, he didn't succeed against his first aggressive opponent.
There's no way a Pac this old can make 140 and still eek out a performance. He gets jobbed by a younger, faster and more efficient Lomachenko.
Lomachenko has shown incredible skills... against weak to good opposition. He fights Manny Pacquiao and I guarantee you his aggression and workrate goes down.
Against an old weight-drained Pacquaio? I highly doubt it. Target practice against a weak defensive fighter as it is - take his stamina and his legs away from him and he's a KO waiting to happen, even against someone who isn't a power puncher.
I think Pacquiao can make 140 with relative ease and be faster and harder punching (he needs no distractions during training camp, though).
Would be a very dangerous fight for Pac, but Lomachenko will not move up to 140 for a while yet, he just got to 130..........
