I never said that Lomachenko would be bigger?

And when have you seen Lomachenko not engage?

Lomachenko's not gonna change his style at this stage of the game. He might add some wrinkles, but his entire game plan is predicated on his sticking his jab out non-stop to set up shots, maintain distance, and feints. You think that for the most important fight of his life, he's gonna abandon the style on which his success was built upon?

Loma didn't want the fight. And he won't want the fight in 2020. MAYBE 2021.

Lol you say above that Loma is going to weight 3-4lbs heavier in the ring.

This is as nonsensical of a debate about Pacquiao not wanting Martinez at 160lbs some years back.

    Loma's never going to 140lbs. I think Pacquiao loses 10rds at 135lbs.

No, this is what I said:

"Lomachenko's gonna want to be bigger, but not much bigger. The last thing that he wants to be against Pac is sluggish. If the fight happened at 140, I don't see Loma being bigger than 145-148 on fight night. Pac will be 143-145 on fight night at 140. At 147, Pac generally puts on 2-4 pounds max."

I said Lomachenko will want to be bigger as in weigh more on fight night than he does now at lightweight. So if Lomachenko weighs in at 140, I don't think he'd put on more than 145-148. And I said I thought Pac would be 143-145 on fight night because at 140 and above, he doesn't put on much more weight. Mikey moved from 135 and he would be 155 or so against Spence.

The Pac-Martinez comparison was just dumb because Martinez certainly didn't rehydrate a mere 3-4 pounds. 135 to 147 is 12

Ive said before that pac beats loma at any weight before but right now after the thurman fight im not so sure. If they both make 140 comfortably with no after effects i think its a solid 50/50. If loma manages to survive to the second half of the fight he may win due to pac gassing badly. But thats a big ask. If pac land one even just ONE straight left it may cripple loma's ability to move effectively if not outright knock him out cold.

But until i see them actually in the ring this is nothing more than a mythical matchup

Loma can't hang, everywhere Pac touches him would hurt.

I think Loma will lose to Pacquiao if it's going to be in 140. Loma has repeatedly said that even in his current class, he looks smaller than his opponents, especially at the fight night. He is basically a 130 pounder who fights in 135.

Pacquiao might not be so much different with Loma in physical appereance. But Pacquiao has more vast experience fighting in higher weight class, including how to utilize his power.

While I don't think that Loma won't lose easily to Pacquiao due to his highly skilled footwork and defensive capabilities, he would still still struggle against Pacquiao's powerful shots. As of now, I'd like to think them to be simply two boxers in the different area of weight class. Loma-Pacquiao in 140 is a mismatch similar to Khan-Dib.

Loma has T-Rex arms and is too small at 140. At 130 Loma beats pac.

This is a no win situation for Loma. If he wins, he beat up an old man. If not he got beat by an old man. There’s no point. Loma isn’t here to play king of the mountain like in the old days of boxing. He is here as a businessman.

Pacquiao is a nightmare style for Loma at 140 IMO. Though Pacman is getting old.

I would comfortably take Pac at 147, but I give Lomachenko a slight edge at 140, mainly because I'm not entirely convinced Pacquiao would be effective at 140 at his age.

This makes no sense. We're talking about Pacquiao vs Loma, two guys who are tiny for 147. Makes no difference whether they fight at 140, 147, or HW. They are both capped off.
