Lomachenko's a long way off before I start making these kind of comparisons, right now. Pacquiao is almost done but I still feel he'd be too big.

I was thinking about this matchup after Loma's fight. Prime for prime, I kind of feel Pac still has a slight edge over Loma.

    Prime for prime? Pacquiao KO

Now? Not certain but if Pacquiao performs at 140 as good or better as 147 then I'd still pick him by MD or SD. His experience is much better. He still has his speed and power. I think many people have underrated Pacquiao severely since his loss to Mayweather.

How is Pacquiao's power gone? Just because he isn't knocking people out doesn't mean his power is gone.

If you were to look at his KD % over his KO % for the past 6 years, I'd bet it's one of the highest - if not the highest - in the division.

The dude still has power. Any of his opponents will tell you he still hits incredibly hard. Mayweather said Pac had a power in his left hand that he's never felt before and came off a win where he scored 2 KD's over Bradley.

The difference between now and then is back then Pacquiao was MUCH more active and a risky fighter that took more opportunities to land his punches resulting in more damage. Now, he is more precise and patient (more of a counterpuncher, tbh) about where he places his punches, so he throws less which means his opponent has a better chance of not getting knocked out.

I'm not saying Manny's power is gone, he still packs a wallop, but at WW its not quite as devastating as it was for him at Fly, Bantam, Feather or Super Feather which is natural, if you're a smaller guy going up sometimes you lose power, or if you've been draining yourself down you might get more if you go up to your natural weight.

I meant if he dropped back down to 140 or lower could he level guys again like he did Hatton, that's all. It's much harder for tiny guys to take out natural JMW's like Margarito.

My opinion is that at Pacquaio's prime he wins by KO. Now, I would pick Lomachenko, probably by UD.

Why does it have to be 140, is this your way of giving Pac a fantasy advantage?

Manny, at 140, could have been something special.

He f*cking Iced Ricky Hatton. Hatton was the man in that division for years, too.
