Pac was actually not an A1 puncher. He was a good puncher, but people overestimate his power. The knockdowns and knockouts he got during his asscent were more due to speed and angles than power. The evidence is right there in your face. What does Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Marquez, Bradley, Rios, Algeri, Vargas, and Broner all have in common? What about Jeff Horn? Had the guy dizzy and still couldn't put him down. Pac had a few big time knockouts, but he was never some huge puncher - at least after becoming known known.

Except for Jeff horn, jmm and to a certain extent, they all fought to survive.

Pac is a puncher but he’s not a stalker. So he can’t walk someone down to finish them but if they get hit they’ll be in trouble.

Previous opponents came to him wreckless and his power hurt them. If you’re defensive, have 20lbs on your opponent, it’s hard to get stopped.

Also, shot Cotto easily took all Canelo's best punches at middleweight and wasn't even slightly hurt

Pac also got older if he went for the KO only he'd gas out and be blown out.

My ranking for that decade would be about: 1. Edwin Valero, 2. Vitaly Klitschko, 3. Acelino Freitas, 4. Randall Bailey, 5. Rafael Marquez, 6. Alexander Munoz, 7. Arthur Abraham, 8. Juan Manuel Lopez, 9. Nonito Donaire, 10. David Haye.
