A bloated welterweight, Pacquiao is still below the 147-pound limit even as Mayweather checked in at 150.3 pounds during the World Boxing Council mandatory 30-day weigh-in last week.

After finishing off the hamburger, Pacquiao proceeded to partake of the beef tapa, fried chicken, beef stew, broccoli with lean white meat, white rice, and bananas ordered from Nat’s Thai restaurant, just a few steps away from Wild Card Gym here.

“I can eat anything I want and still make weight,” Pacquiao, who’s a natural 140-pounder according to chief trainer Freddie Roach, told Filipino sportswriters at his home on Plymouth Boulevard here.

In fact, Pacquiao boasted, he can even trim down to 135 pounds if needed.

He's been fast enough to counter everyone he's ever fought.

He's putting on the weight eating all the bad stuff. Not going to help him to eat hamburgers.

At the same time he does need to gain 5lbs or so but it's incredibly easy to put on 5lbs in a few days because it can be mostly water and fiber.

    Right here.

    Making 140, isnt making 135.

And he hasnt weighed in at 140 since Hatton.

Great to see hes in shape though. Means he'll be fast.

    Makings of a great fight

That same article also says he'll weigh in from 148-149 on fight night.
Essentially the same weight as Floyd

    Are you his cook?

Athletes are supposed to eat a lot, they're burning ridiculous amounts of calories.

    Look at Phelps diet

This shows Pacquiao can make 140 rather easily. He could probably make 135, but he won't look good doing it AKA Roy Jones. You do wonder if he'll be strong enough to bully Floyd, because Floyd is strong, especially when that elbow is pressing up on your chin and he just pushes you off him. Pacquaio might have to deal with a few elbows pushing him away.

For boxing it is. If you're making weight, five meals is a luxury.
