Are swimmers supposed to make weight like boxers do?

If Mayweather comes in at 154-160 on fight night, and manny 147.. What an amazing feat it would be to win. His uncanny ability to beat larger opponents would be proven once again.

"The greatest trick manny pacquiao has pulled is making you believe he's smaller than you."

You think Floyds gonna put on 10lbs in his last few weeks of training??

I am willing to permanently ban myself if theres anymore than 5lbs between them

I think at the weigh-in Manny will weigh 144-145.
    Floyd will weigh 146.
Fight night, Manny will be 147 max.
    Floyd 150-152 max.

If theres more than 5lbs in weight between them on fightnight, I will leave this page forever.

In fact, im guessing there'll be no more than 2lbs between them

Pacquiao is actually trying to maintain the weight difference on weigh in and fight night to avoid being outsized. He's been doing this ever since he fought at WW. But it doesn't mean it is his natural weight class. Pac can easily make 140. Floyd could not even make 144 six years ago.

You can say he can easily make 126 if you want.

The fact is both he and Floyd have been in the same weight category for 6 years, and both get in the ring, shredded at about 150.

Like I said, if theres 5lbs or more difference between them on fightnight, Ill self impose my own ban.

Floyd is taking his training to a new level as well. Both men are going all in.....this kind of news from both sides is what we want to hear as fans. It means that they are both coming to not just win....but to make a statement.

The stage is massive and the return isn't the only incentive for a noteworthy performance. Floyd's even talking about this being about legacy. He typically never talks about that.....Floyd has all the money he could have ever dreamed of and now it's not the main motivator for fighting PAC.

Of course money is important but this HAS to be a a classic! It's a LOT of pressure to give boxing what very few have....a Ali/Frazier....Leonard/Hearns ect.

lol Roach said Pac weighed 144. Not that Pac's weight will be critical in this fight but Roach has said a lot of stuff that turned out to be pure bs.

    Awesome, come in prime form.

Note: Roach said he weighed 144, they didn't actually show his weight. Not sure how much stock to put into this.

Manny looks ripped......I'm sure 144 is accurate. Floyd's probably around the same weight as well.....Although he's looking a bit bigger...more muscular.
