I remember Pacquiao and his team came to the US to find a trainer. They started in the east coast and worked their way west. Nobody was interested in Pacquiao untill Freddie Roach saw him. My question is who did Pacquiao encounter when he was working his way west. Did he ran into Mcgrit, Steward, or any of the famous trainers?
When Pac wallked in the gym, Floyd walked Pac from the front of the gym to the back door leading him to the alley.
Floyd sr. is an enigma. A riddle wrapped in a mystery. How can someone so knowledgable be such a jackass?
Without Roach Pac would probably still be a 1 handed fighter today. So its not certain that he'd be this great. Probably just another asian flash in the pan that nobody outside hard core boxing fans remember.
it takes great eyes to see great hidden talent. just like businessmen who sees good opportunities even unknown to normal people. roach had that one. look at them now.
Hey guys not trying to be a jackass but who do you think needed the other the most, Roach or Pacquiao?
Roach needed Pac. If pac wouldve got FM Sr as a trainer he wouldve been a more lethal two fisted defensive master assassin.
That's right....the greatest of all time, not this time, not that time, not the other time, but of all time:rofl.
