Yes, Pac's history is full of examples to explain why Crawford would be the man he'd avoid.

I saw Crawford yesterday and I loved his style. He has a mean streak to him, a very good chin, he is a man's man (immediate re matching for every taken shot, like Bradley). I didn't rate him too highly before because watching the Gamboa fight made me feel he got through by being the bigger man with much longer reach, but I saw that TC is more than that. I think he is a legit superstar in the making.

Which of course brings us to the point of Pacman. Arum has no chill, and will feed his aging legend to his young one, no doubt. And I think Pac's usual "depends on my promoter" attitude will play a cruel joke on him, at the end of his illustrious career.

PS: Pac is not Mayweather, he is not gonna duck TC.

I agree with you and seriously doubt that Pac is even entertaining the thought of facing Crawford.
Rather, it is probably Arum who is pushing for Pac to fight Khan, Crawford and soon, some other non-eventful fight to make a few more dollars off of Pac before his TR contract expires.

Pac got a taste of the long money with his fight with Mayweather and as his last event, I'm sure ideally he'd like another taste, but this time minus Arum and his percentage in the loop.

"Pacquiao is shot" is an excuse. Obviously he's seen better days but far from shot.

If Pac has it his way he'll be facing either Floyd or JMM.

If Arum has it his way Pac will be facing JMM or Crawford.

I'd really like to see Pac Vs Marquez without Manuel having bulging muscles and back acne, even though it would be a massacre.
Crawford Vs Pac is a real good fight and I do hope to see that one. I'm totally fine with Amir Khan fighting Brook or Thurman instead of a huge payday vs Manny.

i see potential in crawford so he can challenge pac and be the next top rank star if he wins. he must issue his challenge to be known and not let the promoter decide. brook and thurman are also legit contenders but they belong to different promoters so it will take some works to happen. pac-crawford is in-house and is a good possible passing of the torch. even a loss is not an embarrassment if they show a good fight since pac is a certified atg.

What has Pacquiao done that has show he's "shot"? I guess your making an excuse for his Mayweather lose.

Pacquiao looks the same as he always has, same speed and everything.

That being said he can beat Crawford

It's not the hand speed or power that has diminished.

Well...if I'm Pacquiao, I say no to this match up for the only reason that Arum will rob him even if it's not even close. I do think that Crawford is overrated and the last time Arum wanted to create a new PPV, which didn't work, it was during the first Bradley-Pacquiao fight and looked what happened....

OP, nothing wrong with your opinion, but when you say things like this, you have to be ready to give credit when it's all said and done. That said, I don't think Pacquiao has any problem fighting Crawford, but his team might. It's a fight I feel could go either way, Pacquiao has faced more dangerous opponents in the past.

I think Pacquiao on a good day has enough to deal with Crawford. It would sure be a ripper of a fight. Could go either way.
