I'd like to know the context of the comment, who asked it and who he is talking too. I'm sure it's all very relevant.

Aside from that, he's right. Who's the last black american that gave you a great fight to watch? Style wise it just don't happen much...

 

I'd imagine Pacquiao, if he did say this, would have been referring to cries from some sections for him to fight a "slick black american", just being ironic IMO, not racist.

The only reason why Shane ran is because he was shot to **** and knew he couldn't compete with an elite. But of course Shane is going to sell his "warrior" moniker in order to get the fat paycheck. Put Berto in there with Pac and Berto might've gotten KO'd but he'd put up a fight. Paul Williams would like to say, "Hi, I'm still here" to Manny.

Manny is an exciting fighter. Yes, we get it. But people need to show more respect for defensive artists like Ali, Toney, Whitaker, Hopkins, and Mayweather.

I would tell Pacquiao to watch the Johnson-Froch fight. My money is on Glen Johnson to show the world that not all old, black fighters run and hide.

 

Exactly.. Shane did that against margarito, he hit and avoided getting hit but he basically ran from pacquiao! Once he realized he was out gunned he packed it in and his inner ***** came out.. Shane could dish it out (against the slower margarito) but he couldnt take it! (from pac man)

Thats why I give margarito alot of credit, He was getting pounded against pacquiao and he still kept coming and throwing punches... With a broken orbital bone! He didnt quit, he didnt run, he didnt hold... He also landed 229 punches and he went out and TRIED to win every round! Atleast he earned his pay check! :bbb

He lost his Warrior Card Saturday night..In all honesty, I'd sure as hell run from Pacquiao too if I were paid to get in the ring. Let's put yourself in Shane's shoes. He's got kids and his health. You'd seriously risk your health by being all warrior at 40 years old trying to TRADE with Manny Pacquiao? Mosley's got a nice check, can walk off into retirement saying he survived Manny Pacquiao.

I dont believe this ****.The last black fighter Pac fought was Sanchez who gave him hell every minute of every round. And he knows Shane is way past his glory days and that Shane would have went out on his shield.

but the majority of the young Black Ame3rican fighters do not like getting hit,its what they're being taught in the gyms, and they think it's more important to work on their defense than to perfect their offensive game.
