Everyone knows I've not been Manny's biggest supporter lately, matter of fact it would be fair to say I've hated on the man from time to time. I accept that, and to his fans and supporters here, I apologize for striking that nerve, because I would expect you to defend your favorite fighter/team/idle/hero/whatever he may be to you.

That being said, I would like to offer a bit of advice to Manny/Manny's fans/anyone who may interact with Manny/etc that would genuinely help the man out. "Take responsibility for your own life." It's as if he's been pampered so long, that he doesn't have anyone who can pull him to the side and say "Dude get your **** together". It's always excuses and blame...my socks, Ariza didn't train me, Jinky distracted me, Arum won't let me, they tricked me, Kooncz lied to me, I'm overextended and trying to do too much, etc. I'm not judging the man, **** I'm far from perfect but Manny's problems aren't a physical decline, it's not JMM style, it's not Mosley running, Arum cheating, Kooncz talking, Roach's health...it's HIM, period.

    • Bad business deals...his fault, get the people around you that you need to make it right. Stop bullshitting around and get it fixed, you've worked too hard, for too long to be living this way. **** "trust", get the information, you can read breh. Put systems in place to provide checks and balances, you're a ****ing congressman for God's sake, you are capable of handling your own checkbook. It's not complicated, it's ****ing simple, TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR BRAND.
    • Poor match making (assuming you believe this to be an issue), Roach said himself, Manny needs to push Arum and let him know what he wants...if he wants PBF, then God Damn it pick up a phone, or hop on a plane and go tell that Arum what the **** we are "going" to do, not ask what we "can" do. You've done too much, accomplished to much ,to be made into this watered down version of you really are. I swear to God, I think he's looked like **** the last two fights because he's not motivated. I think he's wanted Floyd the last three fights, but Arum has been talking him out of it and he's not challenged. No disrespect to JMM, SSM, or Tony but they aren't on this dude's level (at 38, 39, 36 years old) and there's no ****ing reason these fights should be competitive at this point. TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LEGACY
    • You have a faction of people questioning Ariza and Kooncz, should they be fired etc...for what? They didn't fail Manny, Manny failed them. Why in the **** would you pay Ariza all the money Pac does, to blow off his plan and not do what he's asking you to do? Manny's the boss, if he doesn't want to follow Ariza's plan, **** what can Ariza do? If you want Ariza to STFU, then go tell the man to STFU, lay out what's OK and not OK to address and that's that. If he can't/won't comply then take control of your own situation and get his ass out of there, simple. Kooncz the same deal, if unsatisfied with his work, or if he's done things (which it appears he has but who knows for sure) that violate your trust or doesn't perform his job well...that's on Manny. Your body is your temple, it's how you make your living and provide for your children, TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR BODY!
    • You have the "he was distracted" crowd. If distracted by outside factors and personal issues, don't blame your wife and kids, OWN THAT ****. It's Manny's responsibility to ensure Manny is doing right by his family. Jinkee wants Kooncz fired because he lied covering for Manny...it's not Jinkee or Kooncz that "created" a distraction, Manny did. Take your ass home after you train, be true to your wife, respect your kids and family, be the guy you claim to be, OR stop claiming to be that. There's a reason Derek Jeter isn't married. Get a divorce from your wife if you can't/won't be true to her, it won't be a distraction and you can **** who you want, no big deal...not my business. All I'm saying is to man up, and take control of your ****ing life bro. Stop with the bull****, get your ****ing priorities right, and make the most of the time you have left in the sport because the dude's on a one way track to not having his family, not having any money, and tarnishing a legacy he's worked his ass off to build. TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE.
I want the dude to succeed, I want to witness greatness, I want to believe there are "good guys" left in sports, I mean have no problem with all that. At his best he's exciting, dynamic, and something to marvel but right now...not so much. Just my two cents, got it all out in one post, so I can leave this **** alone for a while.

From the outside Pac is very a likeable person and that's why so many casual fans like him.

That is until you learn of his character after being exposed to his actions for some time.... you learn that which you just described makes him day by day less and less likeable.

I can say that this is the best thing to ever happen to Manny since losing to Morales. It will teach him a lesson. I think fame and fortune has gotten to his head. Hopefully this becomes a wake up call for him.

Nice read. But Pac won't do any of those things. When you think about it, now would the opportune moment to let his team know who runs the show.

Beautifully and well written Reppin. I too use to admire Pac, the Hatton fight was the last time i was amazed by him. The Cotto fight was great but the catchweight bull they pulled on the then champ left a bad taste. the smoke and mirrors that was create lately made me just walk away. he needs to get rid of all the yes men and take control as you say.

He's outsourced everything except wanting to sign a deal to fight Floyd.

Let him sue Floyd first. if he fails at that, beat his ass in the ring.

nah, the litigation case comes first. He's already fully committed to it. balls been in floyd's court but he chose not to show up. Floyd even avoided him in court. All he had to do was show up at a court house 15 minutes away from his house. Instead, he's burning 100 dollar bills at a strip club which is CLOSER to his house.:smoke

I think his head is too much into the political aspirations stuff. He needs to make a choice, politics or boxing?
