[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QF4w36UUyhk[/ame] I started listening when Max Kellerman was talking, he knows his stuff, his kind of like a boxing geek. what you think of this video, i think it pretty much a good analysis most likely a re post, but o well.
kellerman is a crag head. mannys defense has gotten better. as great fighters get older they evolve. they lose something from the past but gain something new in the present. its the art of adapting. thats what great fighters do
Max made valid points..Pac fans were crying "Floyd is bigger than Juan",well he is bigger than Manny... It is Juan's style that gives Manny problems, well Floyd's a better counter puncher with a good defense gives Manny problems...
With all the wars and the amount of fights Pac has been in, I honestly think he's done at top level. He's like a 40 year old great these days, he's lost his spark, no more fire left but can still put on a show.
Yup! Floyd is bigger than Manny! I wonder why Floyd didn't jump in on the opportunity to school Pac? :rofl Should be 44-0 now :nut Maybe he really wants to clean up the sport :rofl Floyd a G :hi:
:good exactly! I wonder why he's still being labeled as a cheater :rofl someone's really concerned about cleaning up the sport :rofl:rofl:rofl
Well, he didn't exactly lose both fights, did he. He justified being the favourite against Bradley, by handling him with ease pretty much. And regarding his improvements, I think they did show up against Bradley at least. It's just a pity that, along with those improvements, his physical regression is kicking in, too.
Pacquiao has fought one of the best Boxer in boxing behind Floyd and that is Marquez and he fought a solid boxer in Bradley. It's a hard TECHNICAL fight. These guys are movers and do not give you a stationary target to hit.Manny is just not the type of boxer that will outbox an opponent. He struggles and it's clear based on the last fights.Guys that move and give a bit of defense and counter punching is his worst nightmare. Boxers that like to trade with him and brawl with Manny. These are the types Pacquiao has a better chance of mauling. But give him credit for being good enough to drop Marquez 3 times. But Marquez has indeed figured Manny out and is just the better boxer overall.
And despite that, he still beat Bradley very clearly. I'm pretty sure that, had Uncle Bob not robbed Manny, very few of us would be criticizing Pac as much as we are now. When that final bell went, his critics/haters were thinking: "FML. I thought Bradley was gonna' trouble him". But when the scores were read out, they creamed their pants and it turned into: "HAHA Pac got schooled again!". Ultimately, that robbery tainted his performance and gave people reasons to criticise him.
Good point. If the right decision was made, I don't think anyone would bother looking like an idiot to try to justify the robbery. I just love how his critics would conveniently count both his third fight against JMM and the Bradley fight as legitimate losses. It's the epitome of double-standard.
