This guy started at 106 pounds because he was hungry.

Then he moved to flyweight and challenged Sasakul who was 28 years old at the time and Pacquiao was a malnourished teenager. Sasakul is one the top 15 flyweights in boxing history and that's one of the original 8 weight classes. Pacquiao stopped him.

Then he jumped three weight classes and cleaned out 122 viciously.

Then he went to 126 and fought 2 ATG fighters. I remember nobody gave him a chance against Barrera who was considered just too big for Pacquiao.

At 130 he took on Morales, but lost. So what? Fighters lose when they fight the best. He came back to win titles in the division and people were starting to become amazed that he could hurt these men being a former flyweight champ.

Then he went to 135 and stopped Diaz to prepare for big money fights in the future.

Then he went to 145 and stopped DLH and Cotto. Now we're seeing things that were thought to be impossible because of the size differences.

But then he reaches the ultimate weight climbing feat. He started at 106 pounds and whipped on Magarito!!!! Incredible.

See this is why the weight climbing is so impressive. Imagine Vic darchinyan a former flyweight champion beating down Tony Margarito? Or Roman Gonzalez who only started 1 pound lower than Pacquiao beating down Tony Margarito??

    He started at 106 pounds!

He started as a malnourished teenager! You even said it yourself!

He then had access to better training and nutrition......and grew older.

It's also amazing how far Pacquiao came from his days at light flyweight and flyweight. He looked soooo slow back then compared to what he became.

I know what you're hinting at but May and Pac have both grew into and operated around the same weight for a long ass time now so let's not get into that ****. Pacquiao started at a lower weight but he grew into the division healthily and has weighed more than Mayweather on some fight nights but it's beside the point. They're both average sized welterweights who could make 140.

Whilst Manny's eight division label is hugely flexible, it is an amazing ascendancy through the weights with some memorable fights, ATG achievements and discouraging bigger guys from walking through you via hell's fury from your fists is an admirable ability, yes I know Marg wasn't at an optimal time, cherry pick as some would say if Mayweather picked a guy at this kind of timing, but IMO it was a phenomenal performance all the same, how about that, an objective fan of both guys.

His blind man love for Floyd wouldn't let him give credits to Manny for what he has achieved.

That why he was always able to make the low weights easily. I'm not saying that Floyd came from a wealthy family with a cook as a kid. But I don't ever recall many people die by starvation in Detroit.

Well not really seeing how uncle bob has stated he has had the injury since 2008.

Unless of course he tore his rotator cuff each time he has fought and healed it every time after a fight which is amazing seeing how he doesn't go to doctors, and performs his own rehab

Most remarkable thing about Pac to me is how he managed to be dominant as he has moved up in the pros from 106 to 147. ATG stuff there.

Well his dominance started to decrease after a certain point when they just got too big. Which is why he's never had a knockout at 147 or higher.

But he was still able to beat some good Welterweights.

On what planet is it miraculous to gain 35 pounds between being 15 years old and 30 years old.
