He has a stack of businesses, some houses in different countries, apparently donates alot of his money and is very charitable with it to those around him. Wouldn't surprise me. It's not like he's going to go broke or be destitute. He has a government position and is set for his life outside of boxing.

Pacquiao seems foolish with the way he handles money and seems to have a lot of leechers on him.

I figured he had a lot more than that. But no way in hell does Arum deserve 27%. He is getting raped. Between paying Arum, Roach, and Ariza, that's getting close to half the purse right there.

Floyd probably has more than Pac, but he spends a hell of a lot. He may keep more money, but he spends a **** load.

and where was Pac before he signed with Arum? Making 1-2 million dollar purses vs MAB, Marquez, Morales, 250-400PPV, nowhere near the global PPV superstar he has become. What other promoter has paid any of their fighters what Top Rank gave Pac for his recent run of fights, or built anyone up to that level? Only Arum and De La Hoya, and then Mayweather on his own after the worldwide exposure against Oscar. It all goes back to Arum having built up Oscar. Arum deserves a good slice of the pie he helped baked, don't he? Pac doesn't have a problem with it like Oscar and Mayweather did, because he's alot more grateful and a lot less greedy and egostical as they were. Without promoters like him, there'd be a lot less interest and money in boxing, people don't understand that.

I think Pac just gives his money away to the poor in the Phillipines. Mayweather is making about 40 million $$$ a fight.:smoke

he;s needed a promoter, yes. Not like he can promote himself or knows the ins and outs of putting fights togethers. He doesn't know people in the business like Arum, as he says, he;s just a fighter. would he have come up with the Dallas fight? No. He'd have to go off to another promoter, and no-one else pays as much anyway. maybe he could be paying less % to his promoter, he'd have been in a position to negotiate that, but maybe he's grateful for everything Arum's done for him and doesn't think twice about it. i've heard he also likes things to remain consistent and doesn't like change as a superstition, maybe that has something to do with it to.

And you still think that Manny is the devious genius that plays around the mind of his fans.
