I like Marquez but his claim to fame is beating Pac hard to claim Marquez as a great win when most people feel like you never legitimately beat him once.

And what was hot about WW Margarito didn't do anything and avoided all the top WW from 00'-07", Williams never did anything til he hit MW, Cotto/Mosley were on record saying they didn't want to fight.Quintana, Clottey, Berto on the grandscale outside of Mosley/Cotto no real notable wins or titles won or accomplishments and Mosley made his name in the early 00's. Wins over the Undisputed WW/JWW & WBC JMW Champ were bigger.

Marquez @126 was heavily avoided. But guys who knew him knows his on par with Barerea and Morales. Pac fought him and goes to show his mentality with fighting anyone.

Maybe you missed all the great fights at WW during 2006-2009 when Floyd was either fighting 140 and 135 fighters @ 147 in between a long vacation? Just check these fights: Cotto-Mosley, Marg-Williams, Mosley-Marg, Cotto-Margarito, Clottey-Cotto?

Just compare it to the WW environment after that. FFS, Guerrero, Ortiz and Berto were considered top dogs after Pac and Floyd?

ATG fighter. I'd say he's somewhere in the 30-35 range all time for me.

I'd put more stock into his titles in 8 divisions had he actually beaten the lineal champion at each weight class he went up. He's cherrypicked some seriously weak fighters such as David Diaz to help enhance his overall resume.

But he also beat some sure fire 1st ballot HOF'ers. I think he caught Barrera and Morales at the right times in their careers when he fought them. I wish all of those guys were in their respective primes when they met up at 126 and 130 lbs.

And his 4 fights with Juan Manuel have been legacy defining for him. Personally I have JMM ahead of him 2-1-1 in their 4 bouts, but you can make an argument for either man in their first 3 fights.

But the guy is an ATG no doubt, regardless of PED suspicions. FOr a guy who won his first title at 106 or 112 (I forget,) he's had one remarkable career.

I'm a Marquez fan but listening to Pac fans outside of Pacquiao what did he do.

Berto was a top 5 WW when Mosley, Williams, Margarito was there he is from there era not this one, guys like Guerrero, Alexander have more of a HOF claim than Margarito/Williams though. Between 06-09 Mayweather beat the last two true Undisputed WW champs, the Undisputed JWW Champ, WBC JMW Champ, and Pacquiao's biggest rival.

Williams biggest win is Margarito, the only notable win by Margarito is possibly cheating Cotto 2 yrs later, Mosley was looked at as faded til he beat Margarito, and Clottey never did anything.

Many horse breeds easily have 80+ world champions. The horse industry is also has rampant problems with. Corrupt judges and PEDs.

As for Manny, we've heard the line "Manny always loses fantasy fights" but maybe he always loses fantasy fights because he just doesn't measure up against many of the ATGs. I'd say somewhere in the 40s.
