While you guys have been arguing for 5 straight years about it, Bob Arum and Pac himself haven't said much at all.. If they don't care at all, then I don't care right with them.. If there was really something worth looking at, they would have jumped on it but they haven't done anything at all besides say Pac was hurt.. That's it.. Seems weird but whatever...

This is full of conjecture! Both have historic and significant wins. What we can say is they are both great fighters and Mayweather is the greater fighter.

A Floyd win over Pac would be a better win than any Pac win IF...
...it had happened after Pac defeated Cotto, or at least sometime in 2010 or 2011.

But Floyd feared Pac at that point, and waited five more years while babbling on about some great crusade to "clean tip the sport," an enterprise he never showed any interest in till faced with the prospect of facing the conqueror of Cotto and Hatton. He waited till JMM had KO'd the Filipino, and then he waited a while longer. And he also defeated an injured Pac.

I would regard that as Floyd's second or maybe third best win after Canelo and maybe Oscar, all things considered.

Given the stage of careers and the size differences, Pac's wins over Hatton, Cotto, Margarito and Thurman were all 'better' wins than Floyd's win over Pac.

 

They both spoke out about it, but the corrupt commission stopped the investigation before one even started. The DA suddenly and inexplicably dropped the case against Jussie Smolett and he walked. The police commissioner was PISSED, but what can he do?

Floyd brings huge a amount of revenue into Vegas and that fact wasn't lost upon the NSAC.

 

Cotto wasn’t a Floyd leftover.

Bradley was a very good fighter and in his prime, whilst Manny was at an advanced age.

Floyd’s performance over Marquez was fantastic, but the weight issue takes some shine off of the win.

IMHO, Floyd would always have beaten Manny. But their fight was horrible. Manny was clearly injured and had surgery the following week, and we had the IV scandal with Floyd.

 

It would need a higher power to investigate it properly. And an investigation of that magnitude would harm everybody.

It would take time, it would cost millions of dollars, and it would drag the sport through the mud, including the NSAC who host the fights in Vegas, which obviously Arum has been involved in for many years. And Vegas is still regarded as the home of the world’s biggest fights.

Also, even if Arum had wanted to have looked into it further, USADA and the NSAC would have just joined forces to have prevented it, in order to protect themselves. They would have just covered each other like they did with the statements that they put out.

 

Forget it. Floyd is the better fighter by far. Beats him 10 out 10 times. Easy .
