Morales beat a Pac that was still raw and unrefined. Pac avenged that loss twice by knockout. And an old and fat Morales took Danny and Maidana, you know, the guy that pushed Floyd's **** in and was arguably robbed, into deep waters and almost drowned them.

    :deal:

Need to see a healthy Pac against a Floyd that is VADA-tested and didn't use illegal IV fluids to flush his system. If Floyd wins on even terms with no foul play, then I'll admit it.

Yes. An injured, semi-shot Pac stunned Floyd twice. Floyd won on glancing jabs and initiated 20+ clinches, some of which occurred when Pac wasn't even throwing. Pac went through Floyd's drug testing, so we know he was clean for that fight.

Why do you think Floyd swerved Pac for 5 years?

Only thing I'll add is the first MAB fight is by far the best victory on either man's resume. It's just not even remotely close. And yet for some reason you get the same Pac haters and Floyd apologists coming into these threads every time to say that Mayweather has a better win on his resume.

He just does not. We have done polls here over and over asking what is the best win on either man's resume. Barrera I comes out on top every time in a landslide every single time.

    It's just an exhausted topic.

Obviously I disagree, but regardless of that isn't it a bit of a redundant point?
If the injury was that bad he could've pulled out.
People have won fights with worse injuries, let's be honest.
Does Pacquiao have the ability to beat Floyd?
Absofuxinglutely, but he didn't when it mattered, and consequently FMJ got one of the greatest wins on paper in history.

A better win than Pac has, or ever will have.

I mean, depending on who you talk to, both men are guilty of swerving.

Both men floated fight contracts at different stages, we know that, the rest is speculative.

Pull out? Of a fight that had been 5 years in the making? A fight that sold out Las Vegas hotels, flights, and caused traffic jams with a record number of private planes? This was the biggest fight in the history of the sport. It took 5 years for Floyd to decide that it was safe enough to get into the ring w/ him. But to your point, Pac injured himself in camp. He applied to use a painkiller for his shoulder, but was denied on a technicality (a form filled out incorrectly).

Here's what we know. Pac underwent testing through an agency Floyd insisted on and privately contracted with. We can reasonably assume that Pac was clean for the fight just like we can reasonably assume that Floyd wasn't because he used illegal IV fluids—a known method of masking PED use. Still, Pac authored the two most significant sequences of the entire fight. He landed the hardest punches of the fight while Floyd landed mostly glancing blows.

It's not really speculative. Pac had one consistent message after the first round of negotiations. He said he'd take any test Floyd wanted. Floyd then lowballed Pac w/ the $40 million offer, stated in multiple interviews that he didn't need to fight Pac, stated that Pac needed to leave Arum for the fight to happen, etc., etc..

No it's not mab is no where as good as canelo and had already lost 3 times 2x to b- level junior Jones when pac beat him. He was seen as a fighter on the decline then not on the rise so try telling this to someone else.

Pbf's win over canelo is 100000 light years better than pacs over mab who had been beaten 3 times before. Canelo > mab

I dunno if I woud say "by far", but it certainly is the one ATG win on either resume that doesn't have a mitigating circumstance.

Sorry, the fight wasn't on even terms. Pac was injured (proven) and Floyd received illegal IVs (proven), a common and effective method of masking PEDs. Blame Floyd for using illegal IV fluids.

Why don't you want to see Pac-May on an even playing field?

It was already a level playing field it's just that no one was on pbf's level and the fight wasn't close like i said it wouldn't be for years, pbf dominated him like he did 90% of the fighters he faced. The fight wasnt worthy of a rematch move on. One rematch that pac should be looking at that was a much closer fight is jeff horn he's still active and still has those problems.:deal:
