Forum members here are downplaying Bam Bam as a boxer just because they hate Manny..

Come on, let's be real here.. Bam Bam is strong young hungry lion who wants to prove something.. Even his trainer believe that they could knock Manny out..

And Manny on the other hand is more than deserving to have a tune-up fight after the knock-out he has suffered.. Let's give Manny some credits here for fighting Bam Bam..

    Let me hear ESB.. :smoke

Both are coming off losses, I don't see the problem with this fight. Alvarado couldn't make it because of an injury/surgery.

  3. which is it? rios is very limited. did u watch his fight wit abril? he's not a very good boxer.

They should put into consideration that Rios against Pacquioa is a fight that would happen no matter what..

And not because both guys are coming off losses doesn't affect the excitement this fight makes..

I wouldn't be surprise if this fight gets 2m buys of PPV.. :smoke

Given the circumstances it's a great fight. Rios is a durable power puncher and not the most ideal person to come back to after having your chin cracked and knocked out cold. If this was taking place before Marquez 4 then I agree it would have been a total mismatch. But Pacquiao's world has been turned upside down since then and it is actually a brave move to immediately jump back in with someone who bangs harder than the guy who just put him to sleep. I'm going by a Pacquiao decision in a competitive war.

Abril gave him problems by fighting tall and with that Philly Shell defense but that's all.. If he had thrown more punches he would have gotten the W..

Who takes a Rios fight for tune-up? :think

rios has no chance, gets tkod within 7 rounds. dont believe the rios hype. just because pac lost, does not mean that pac still cant blast somebody. pac was world class in his fight with marquez, marquez was just on the same level, but yet pac lost to an atg, rios will never be an atg. but one thing is for sure, the fight is gonne be acion packed. sure i would prefer pac, to take on somebody better than rios, i dont have difference standards, when I say floyd should fight the best, than I have the same standard for pac. therefore pac vs floyd, but sadly floyd doesnt want to, so second best option would be pac vs canelo or pac vs brook.

I wouldn't rule out a Rios win at this stage - the same guys saying how this is a cherry pick and Pac wins easy were the same saying that Pac's chin has gone, he'll never be the same and he's finished...it's just the same old ***** logic, low on intelligence, big on hate

Even his TRAINER beleives it? Well that settles it. :tired

Pac is going to beat him up. He may stop him, but Rios is incredibly tough.
