    Yes, Manny can counter-punch. He clearly has a better time with it when his opponent is advancing (what counter-puncher doesn't?) but it's not his strong-point. Countering the jab with a right hook over the top, or slipping it and landing a straight left before pivoting out, ducking under the left hook and landing a left hand to the body, stepping all the way to the left to avoid a right hand and come back with a straight left or combo, are all the usual counters he employs.

    Pacquiao is a great counter-puncher, which is why he is at his best when in with an aggressive opponent.

    The majority here will say no. Most of them are Floyd's Lifestyle fans that think if it doesn't have a 'pull' it isn't a counter.

    If you have to ask this than you don't know **** about boxing :lol:. Pacquiao right counter is one of the best in the business. If you disagree than you're underrating his counter punching. Pacquiao is no longer that one dimensional bum you see from 6-7 years ago.

    Oh yea, he can. But like GOW7 said, it really depends on who and he's not being biased by saying that. Like I always said, if he fought more like a counterpuncher, he'd probably have more ko's. He floored JMM in the second fight with a counterpunch. If Pacman knew when and when not to counterpunch, fight alittle smarter, he'd be a better fighter. JMM figured him out because Pacman was predictable and not as complete fighter as many claimed he was. He even admitted JMM figured him out.
