Pac has already shown he is a legitimate 140 lb fighter. To discredit Floyd beating Pac by saying Pac only started at 106 is an excuse. Do you think Floyd was much bigger when he was 16 yrs old? I doubt it.
Pac starting at 106 lbs as an excuse has just been voided. Floyd at 16 yrs. Fought at 106 lbs. Pac at 16 yrs. Fought at 106 lbs.
and who has pac fought at 140 again for you to claim that he is a legitimate 140 fighter? 2 years ago, people were saying that fighters at 130-140 would murder pac if he left 126, you can check the threads that time. ( i should know, i was already an esb fan but not a member) sure he fought against dlh at 147 but the age of dlh was designed to even things out. pac at most can fight at 140, to fight 147 against the big dogs would be suicide. and why do you think it is ok for him to fight pbf who has fought as high as 154 again? from 130 to 154, that is a 24 lb jump. from 112 to 140 wherein pac started filling up already, that is a jump of 28 lbs. so you can see a pattern, a normal range wherein fighters will start out and end up naturally but not beyond it. look at what happened to tito and dlh who went up to fight a big dog like bhop. by your argument, you are basically conditioning people that it is normal for pac to fight someone as big as pbf. in real life, would you want to in to the ring with someone who is taller, bigger and naturally heavier than you be it boxing or MMA? seriously.
bottom line JEFF M, Valero is nothing but pure hype! after mosqueda?! practically there is NOTHING, NADA, WALA, NITCHS... so what do you have to do JEFF M.. simple HYPE VALERO!!!!!:rofl:rofl:good:hi:
Pac was 147 on fight night against Diaz and 148 against ODLH. Did I say Pac was as big as Floyd? NO. I said saying Pac starting at 106 lbs is not an excuse. Floyd's ony fought a few more pounds maximum on fight night than what Pac recently fought at. Floyd is about 1/2 weight class bigger at this point. You just can't fall back on size as the only excuse why Pac lost to Floyd. That completely takes away from Floyd's accomplishment. You could say it was a factor but not dismiss a win by Floyd on size alone.
Don't try an tell me I am trying to say it is normal. It's just not a complete excuse. For someone with Pac's ability it is not nearly as unusual to fight someone who is a weight class bigger though. If Floyd drops to 140 (which I am sure he can) the size excuse is nearly non-existent.
hmm, now you are recognizing "pac's ability", but certain that your boy valero will starch him if they meet. size excuse, non-existent? can you tell that to hatton who left 140 and fought a naturally bigger man than him. look at how it ended. again, in lower weights, one or two weightclasses can spell life and death for fighters, even if they bulked up after the weigh in because the other fighter will also bulk up. would you want your boy valero to fight pbf now since pac and valero is basically the same size?
Hatton was ineffective at 147 because he does not have the same skill set as the Pac-Man. Gifted fighters, I mean the truly gifted ones have the ability to fight in multiple divisions. Valero vs Floyd is illogical until Edwin gets his first couple of fights in the states at 135. Would I mind if he fought Floyd though. Not at all. His limit 140, same as Pac. Valero and Pac are pretty much even in size. I think 140 will always be either one's limit. Does not mean they could not on a rare occasion for a big fight, move to 147 though.
You're right, not only by the japs during 2ndWW but also by the commies in Korea during the Korean war. Thousands of Filipino soldiers died defending Korea's freedom so that in later years the free Koreans could ridicule their (Pinoy soldiers) grandchildren!:-(
You've taken me out of context again like you always do (on purpose I think). I said the excuse of Pac starting at 106 is non-existent because Floyd was at the same weight at that age. Now as far as the present, Floyd has a about a 1/2 to 1 division size advantage on Pac so you could say size played a part regarding this, but not the only one reason as to why Pac would lose to Floyd.
It maybe sickening but did you even bother to know why I said? The guy ridiculed the Filipinos, do you want me to just let it pass? :fire
keep it cool man. finito is a cool guy whenever he's not hyping the boxers he fell in love with (marquez, valero)
