Jones is the greatest of the last 25 years. Jones won titles from middleweight toi Heavyweight. Pac won titles from Flyweight to Lightweight. It was also harder for Jones to jump weightclasses as their was a greater diffference in weight between.

I love Pacman, and would agree he's ONE OF THE BEST.
One thing I don't think to many people couldn't agree on...That Pacman is one of the most COURAGEOUS talented fighters of the last 25 years. The guy has fought some of the best there is to offer, and of course has some losses because of it. You go from starting your career at 106 clear up to beating a so called Legend at 147...Not only beating and destroying him when people didn't think you could...BUT have enough balls to ATTACK HIM! Truly one of the biggest warriors in boxing! People like Gatti/ Ward had guts, but neither was on the scale he is, and I think that's an amazing thing. People like Mayweather's level...Fight nobodies. Pac fights EVERYBODY

pacman amazing? yes. the single greatest fighter of the 25 yrs? :huh if he beats hatton and floyd, indeed. and the reason i say both, even tho it might seem too much to ask is because you can't ask for less from a hall of famer that has the potential to go to the highest level of boxing to become an atg. if floyd loses, people will say it's because of ring rust. hatton really won't have an excuse because he's been active and perhaps in the best shape of his life. right now i have RJJ as the best fighter of the past 25 yrs. i'm also confident he would of beaten the fighters he lost to if he was in his prime and there were no grey areas as to whether he won or lost a fight, in another words there were no controversies. imo pacman doesn't really have to fighting any welters lets be real, but he chose to. i would have him as an atg if he beat JMM convincingly this time in a rubbermatch at 135 and solidify his standing as the best fighter 135 on down of the last 10yrs. as much as i like the guy as my favorite modern fighter, i won't get caught in the hype and will have him as a hall of famer until he beats jmm.

He didn't fight in 3 of those divisions, and was only particularly successful in 2 or 3, unless you're counting Flyweight and Lightweight.

He's never been a unified world champ, at any weight I don't believe. He's simply been a belt holder in 5 weight classes.

You can see into the future now?

Two of them past prime or flat out shot (DLH and Morales), one of them arguably never even beaten (Marquez), and the other legitimate, though he was in terrible condition for their first fight. These are by modern HOF standards by the way, otherwise it's not a given that a guy like Hatton (who he has yet to beat, once again) or even Marquez get in.

None of those 3 were in prime condition (two of them flat out shot), though Barrera could be argued in his general prime years.

I don't recall him being a P4P king at 106 pounds. I recall him being a young, no-name kid with no technique, almost completely reliant on speed and power, and who had yet to grow into his body, considering he was just 16 years old. His natural weight class is clearly around 130 now that he's actually grown into his body and is competing at a world level.

Armstrong held the world title in 3 original weight classes simultaneously. Pacquiao has held portions of two titles in a year (one of those fights being highly controversial, the other being a splinter belt against by far the worst of the LW champions) and beaten a shot fighter in a non-title bout in another.

If you honestly think those are comparable in the slightest, there's no helping you.

This is the problem with you *******s, you always bring up paper accomplishments pertaining to weight rather than actually taking into account the circumstances (such as the fact that he was still a young, growing kid when he started) of his career or the level of opposition he's beaten.

As far as his actual resume is concerned, there have been many fighters over the past 25 years more accomplished. Pacquiao is simply more adept at weight-jumping because of his muscular and athletic genetics. He's never proven himself ahead of the crop in a single weight class he's fought in, despite the fact that he's shown the ability to compete at a high level in many.

But I guess we have another ******* on our hands so this is going in one ear and out the other.
