I'm a fan of every top fighter including PAc. I have criticism for PAc because of his comp, not his talent. Do you really think that Pac is the best fighter of the last 25 years...seriously? If you fans can display evidence that you have watched all of the top fights from 1983 till today, then you can give a valid opinion on the matter. You can't just nuthug PAc as the top fighter of the last 25 years lol... Not while I'm alive.

I love Pac-man but don't feel I am taking anything away from him when I say there are multiple greater fighters of the last 25 years. Whitaker, Hopkins, Jones Jr, Holyfield are all fighters I would for sure put above Pac.

 

This comparison is so ****ed up it is beyond belief :-(

Armstrong held his titles simultaneously and as there was only one world champ at the weight he had to fight the best and could not cherry pick a title. For Pac to do what Armstrong did he would have to beat the number one rated fighters across what is the equavalent of 5 modern day weight divisions. Marquez, Nate Campbell and then beat Antonio Margarito whilst weighing 135....Pac, as great a fighter as he is, or anyone else for that matter, is unlikely to match Armstongs achievements.

 

Obviously, I am a monster Pacquiao fan, but IMO he is not (yet) the best fighter of the last 25 years. I would still have him behind Whitaker, Jones Jr, Chavez, Hopkins, Holyfield, Lewis and Mayweather as things stand. If Pac fights and beats Hatton, I would have him behind only Whitaker and Jones Jr, maybe Chavez too I'm unsure. But if Manny then beats Mayweather as well, then he will be the best fighter of the last 25 years IMO.

I agree, he beats Hatton and Mayweather..... He would get my vote for the best fighter of the last 25 years and maybe then some. Saying he is the best now is a stretch, but he is still young and can accomplish more.....:yep

 

Don't get me wrong, I expected Oscar to win in brutal fashion, and for that I can take nothing away from Pac's victory... On fight night Pac was slightly the heavier man, I thought Oscar would have been 15 pounds heavier than he was.... Though before the fight I still thought Oscar would win, and that says a lot...

Pac put on one of the most beautiful performances I have seen in a long time. I don't think you can gauge Pac's performance over Oscar as a sure thing compared to Mayweather's. I thought Mayweather fought a better Oscar, heavier Oscar, and an Oscar that could still somewhat pull the trigger...... Roach stated himself that he didn't think Oscar could pull the trigger anymore, which is why he was so confident Pac would win.

That said, I give Pac a better chance against Mayweather than I did prior to the fight..... I still pick Mayweather, but hope to god this fight happens.... Would be great for the fans and great for the sport of boxing.:good
