My three favourite fighters who are still active are Calzaghe, Paquiao, and RJJ. I have watched JC live on many occasions. But unfortunately as i was a naughty little boy when i was younger, i am now "permanently ineligible" to travel to the US....and no im not a terrorist haha. I can apply to overturn this ruling with the border control or whatever its called, but to be honest i think my dream of watching a big fight in vegas is dead in the water. I would love to of seen an RJJ fight, I would even pay to see him now, because he was one of my heroes. I have heard that there is the possibility that Pac could fight Valero outside the US, as he is banned from fighting in the US due to an old motorbike injury. I would defo go to see this regardless of where it was. MAB reckons thi9s is the mexican to beat Pacman, and he certainly has an amazing kayo record...even if against iffy opponents. What do we think the chances of this happening are? dependent on the result of Marquez? or would they find a way to overturn his ban?
close to zero. Unless it happens in Asia i think Valero is big in Japan and we know PAcquiao is huge in the Philippines so it could generate some interest there.
well i dont want it to happen in the US of course, anywhere else is perfect. But your probably right this is highly unlikely.
:good I don't think this fight will happen but if does it will be KO for sure. they both have power but I think this is mismatch coz valero is nobody lack of defense and PAC is too fast for him. but I want this to happen as a tune up fight in phil or macau so no one will say pac was ducking valero "for God sake":!: :!: :!:
valero's chin seems to be intriguing to me. if he can take pac's power shot then he has a chance. vice versa. neither fighter is too open when getting offensive, the difference is pac is the quicker man.
I think this fight has a very good chance of happening if Pacquiao loses to Marquez. Pac will need an impressive bounce back win and against Valero he will look great. I would be surprised if Valero lasts more than 2 rounds with Pac and it is very realistic to think this fight will be outside of the US. Valero won't duck Pac because he needs a big payday before his 0 goes and he's no longer marketable.
On recent form it seems unlikely , Pac just doesn't seem to have the same fire at the moment and while I think he would still win I reckon Valero would take him to the later rounds .
Valero would bring that fire out in him very quickly. As soon as Pac gets Valero moving back he'll hurt him and finish him.
Get ready to go to Macau..this is where this fight is going to happen..Great Place BTW it'll make Vegas miniscule in comparison in a few years
Nah probably not . . . if it happens. Pac will tire Valero out up to the 4th and 5th and take him out in the 6th or later. It's foolish for anybody to think that Pac will play Valero's game . . . power is the only thing that Valero have . . . and he most dangerous on the first three rounds. Don't expect Pac to stand in front of Valero on the first three rounds and trade . . . Pac and Roach is not that stupid.
Valero isn't dangerous when you back him up.. he has no idea what to do when someone is attacking him. Pacquiao's chin isn't shaky like Valero's and his power is proven to be top-level. It's completely realistic to think Pac can get him out of there in a few minutes.
