Oh yes, when you back him up. But to trying to back him up in the first three rounds is taking "STUPID" chances not worth it. Doing that will give Valero the chance to land his bomb which is his only chance of winning . . . so why give him that chance?

If they ever fight . . . Pacquaio can win the early rounds while boxing so again why take that unnecesary risk . . . I can assure you that Roach will not be up to that.

It's a chance that fighters 2 or 3 levels below Pac took and had success with. Valero isn't Tyson. Any good fighter (I'm not even talking elite) can see his punches coming, make him miss, counter, and follow up with some more punches. Valero is a 3rd rate version of Pacquiao. It would be like running a Toyota Tundra into a Toyota Camry, an obvious result.

Had success with? Are you kidding me?

Valero has 23 fights 19 ended by K.O. in the first round, one ended by K.O. in the 2nd and another ended in the 3rd. Only Mosquerra and Homno made it past three rounds and these guys were not backing up Valero. Both guys were in the defensive mode most of the time.

Now who are the 2 or 3 level fighters below Pac you are talking about? :think

If you want the best example watch the Mosquera fight again. Valero is ****.. there's no point of arguing whether he would be knocked out by Pac early or not. Just watch Valero fight and imagine him in the ring with Pac. The result should be clear.

Oh yes I have watched that fight a lot of times . . . Mosquerra did try to back up Valero but was never succesful. It's the reason why he got floored too early and lost steam in the later rounds. :yep

I can see where you're coming . . . but like I said that's unnecessary risk and it's not smart to give Valero a chance . . . after all Pac has more to lose than to gain in this fight . . . if it ever happens.

Definitely Pacquiao wins this . . . but not by first or second round K.O. that's all I'm saying.

Why not? You saw how shaky Valero's chin is. You saw how easy it is to hit him. Pacquiao can hurt him with one punch, right? Once he hurts him, it's over. How is it not realistic to think Pac can hurt Valero in the first round after Valero misses one of his wild punches and is left open to a straight left?

Valero isn't Tyson. If you're an elite fighter with a strong chin there should be nothing to worry about AT ALL.
