The numbers support a 59/41 split for Floyd.

ESB people I been meaning to say this for a long time now.

The reason why Gangnam Style is so successful is because the guy dry-humping PSY in the elevator looks like Pac.

OK I feel better now with the truth outta my chest.

Your numbers are biased though. we've been trying to teach u ever since.

when you want to use averages, you use equal numbers of both sides. you use 6 fights of floyd, and 8 of pacquiao. 6 does not equal 8.

Thatman, as a floyd fan (if i can call you that), you are supposedly meant to help floyds cause right? as in, speak for him and make the naysayers change their mind on floyd? well you are obviously putting people off floyd even more and being counterproductive.

so. are you battling for floyd, or for yourself?

  12. He knows in his heart whay Floyd is and no he will not accept a fight with Pacquaio.

So no matter what Pacquiao says he will always come back that is not enough to save Floyds blushes when he turns down the fight yet again.

15 pounds of muscle blah blah blah..

My argument is that the numbers don't lie.

    Floyd Mayweather PPVs

vs Oscar De La Hoya (2,400,000 buys - est. revenue $138,000,000)
vs Ricky Hatton (920,000 buys - est. revenue $46,000,000)
vs Juan Manuel Marquez (1,050,000 buys - est. revenue $52,500,000)
vs Shane Mosley (1,400,000 buys - est. revenue $78,000,000)
vs Victor Ortiz (1,250,000 buys - est. revenue $78,400,000)
vs Miguel Cotto (1,500,000 buys - est. revenue $94,000,000)

    Total buys = 8,520,000
    Average buys = 1,420,000

    Total est. revenue = $486,000,000
    Average est. revenue = $81,150,000

    Manny Pacquiao PPVs

vs Oscar De La Hoya (1,250,000 buys - est. revenue $71,000,000)
vs Ricky Hatton (850,000 buys - est. revenue $42,500,000)
vs Miguel Cotto (1,250,000 buys - est. revenue $72,500,000)
vs Joshua Clottey (700,000 buys - est. revenue $35,000,000)
vs Antonio Margarito (1,150,000 buys - est. revenue $57,500,000)
vs Shane Mosley (1,340,000 buys - est. revenue $73,000,000)
vs Juan Manuel Marquez (1,450,000 buys - est. revenue $74,000,000)
vs Timothy Bradley (700,000 buys - est. revenue $35,000,000)

    Total buys = 8,690,000
    Average buys = 1,086,250

    Total est. revenue = $460,500,000
    Average est. revenue = $57,562,500

$81,150,000 (Floyd's average est. revenue) + $57,562,500(Manny's average est. revenue) = $138,712,500(Combined average est. revenue)

    81,150,000/138,712,500= 0.585=59% rounded
    57,562,500/138,712,500= 0.414=41% rounded

To the one who said I am supposed to support Floyd. No not really. I am a boxing fan and I am basing my opinion on the numbers.

I am using every fight since Oscar. Go look compare there numbers before Oscar...now compare Oscar moving forward...No bias as it's an average man.

So again, Oscar changed their career's. Using anything prior is bias. Taking anything out from that fight on, is bias.

I am also not using "what I think," I am using what Richard, Oscar, and Al WILL use.

If you think they (Richard/Oscar/Al) are dumb enough to let any numbers post Oscar go, then that's on you.

WHY DID ARUM NOT TAKE RICHARD UP ON THIS OFFER? I mean if Manny is worth the 45 or 50 percent that he says he is then the numbers will reflect this.

And my answer is the following:

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOQuVeJRWVg[/ame]

I will promise to go argue against Floyd if he turned down 60/40. My opinion is based off of the IDEA AND NUMBERS that Richard presented in Fight Game with Jim.
