Floyed has ducked almost every body the fans wanted to see him fight since I've been following boxing. Even the Hatton fight didn't happen until after everybody wanted it. I do agree that Pac could have fought some of his opponents under different circumstances. Like Clottey having a rehydration clause apparently and Cotto having to come down to 145 and I also thought Pac lost the second fight with Marquez but over all he's taken much bigger risks and put in much better performances than Mayweather has. Look at every weight division he's fought in and tell me his opponents aren't much better. I know Pacquiao has the question mark over his head about steroid abuse but that isn't the reason Mayweather is avoiding him. I'm a big Ricky Hatton fan but let's be real, a guy who is losing 4 stone during training camps for fights and probably losing 50% of that in the first couple of weeks could easily be a PED user. Mayweather is certainly not moraly above it whether or not he takes them himself imo.
Manny is just all wrong for Mayweather, who imo struggles with pressure and south paws and since Manny is both of those things and also better than anyone Mayweather has fought at the time he fought them I'd say that's the reason he's avoiding this fight more than anything else.

floyd was fighting with headgears and all, had the best coaching, equipments and supplements. pac was facing fully-grown men as a young kid fighting at town fiestas. floyd has a safety style while pac has the come-forward style.

Manny should take the tests no dought, I think there are some really big question marks there but he has still taken much more dangerous fights than Mayweather and had more impressive performances. Mayweather is just looking for a way out of the fight. He ducked Margo for a career high pay day when the fans wanted it, fair enough he had the fight with De La Hoya lined up which he didn't want to risk but he had no excuse for the Cotto fight not happening when fans wanted it or for the Pac fight not happening.

Do you think you’ll ever fight Floyd Mayweather?

“There’s a chance. It’s up to him if he wants to fight. I’m ready any time."

Someone suggested that Mayweather might be waiting for Pacquiao, 32, to show signs of age before agreeing to fight him. Pacquiao found that amusing.

“Maybe he is waiting for me to get older,” he said with a laugh.

Or how Shane, Pac's next opponent, has already declined.

There's no point arguin with people who don't want to face facts. The fight will never make more sense than it does now. The fight will start to lose hype soon, an in 2-3 years it could mean almost nothing. For some one who portrays a sad "gangster" rap image like Mayweather nothing could make more sense than a fight worth 30-40 mil but his ego is simply too big to allow him to go into a fight he thinks he has a 50% or less chance of winning.

Who did Mayweather ever fight at the lower weights who was as good as that Morales, Barrera, Marquez etc. The biggest name on Mayweather's record is De La Hoya who had declined at least as much Morales had against Pac by the time Mayweather fought him.

Manny has been throgh wars with Barrera twice, Morales 3 times, Marquez twice. If you can't see that those wars do take something away from you, then I don't know how you can view boxing. Take a look at Marquez/Vasquez and tell me those wars they had didn't affect them?

How many wars has Mayweather actually been at? Out of the top of my head is just Castillo, which was a close fight the first time around. Other than that Mayweather is pretty good taken care of 'ring wise'.

i even don't get it why floyd fans thinks it's a bad thing for pac to say that floyd is waiting for him to get old or slow down. pac is virtually calling floyd out. these floyd fans, if they really want to see the fight, should be pushing for floyd to come-out of his vacation instead of blasting pac's statements.
