I'm not starting a "who's got the best jab" debates, but off the top of my head, Pinklon Thomas, in that fight with Witherspoon showed a better jab than Oscar's, and don't even get me started about Larry Holmes.

Did you see Oscar's left hand after the fight? It was extremely swollen. He hurt it in the 4th round.

Oscar does have one hell of a jab. He has dominated many fights with it, and when he commits to it, he can actually control other great fighters with his jab. He can also double, and triple jab with great effectiveness. Hell, even a much smaller Oscar completely stopped Bernard Hopkins in his tracks with a stiff jab.

I was about to mention Quartey. Ike outjabbed Oscar when they fought. The Golden Boy's face was pretty marked up from Bazooka's jab.

I really like him. I find him very informative, and often times i hear him say things that are totally correct. Especially watching older fights in hindsight, some of his predictions and analysis are spot on. I think he is underrated.

Oh yeah and he kept going on about how the old Oscar is finally back. Bruce Greenburg & Co. undoubtedly gave Manny a little bonus for that night of commenting. Heck even Forbe's corner seemed paid off when they were shouting just before the 12th round "Watch out he is De La Hoya. He's going to come after you Stevie"

He also said that Andy Lee was the man at 160 ... and that Lee could challenge Pavlik.

He obviously knows his stuff, but even in the early 1980s, I never liked him and I had the opportunity to be around him daily. Just had this cockiness about him.

HBO has been sucking Oscar's dick for yrs, nothing new to me but I hate it when they try to argue he robbed when ever a close desicion didn't go his way.
