I hear what his former team is saying and I think it's a shame that Kermit didn't do the right thing by staying loyal.This is a reacurring theme in boxing.The fighter stays with his original managers UNTIL they are in a position to make some real money,then leaves the old team,never acknowledging the money,work and sweat they put into it.Shameful but par for the course in this sport.:-(

 

I really dont see whats so shameful. Maybe Cintron felt that another trainer would take him to another level and teach him new things. Being too loyal might kill you.

 

Having famous trainer also effects popularity (slightly), take a look at Guzman and Mayweather sr, sr didnt gave any advices to Guzman while he was in the corner. Ofcourse Cintrons situation is different, I allways looked at Manny Steward like some kind of leech, he barely looked into Cintrons eyes when he was telling him what to do....same goes with Taylor...wheres the Manny who was screaming "get this muther****er out a here" in Lewis vs Tyson?? I never thought trainer can be past his prime, but Steward is perfect of example of it.

bro, i am in disagreement with him on cintron, but i know he is legit. there is nothing to really be sold on. he was cintron's conditioning coach in reading, and he also worked with jason, kerm's bro.
