I think this was from the NYC press conference.. WHy the hell is Manny all friendly with Haye??? Is he just playing psycological games?

Why not? Klitschko is making a fool out of himself treating this dead serious, it's good that Stewart has the right approach.

Cause he likes the possibility of Haye actually making Wladimir truly aggressive because he has not been able to get it out of him. See Ibragimov fight!

Why would he have continued to train Jermaine though? He didn't listen or either was just incapable of doing what he was told. Steward always has seen Pavlik's limitations, but if Pavlik dropped Loew and wanted Steward, why would he not take him on?

because the guy is 60 years old and doesnt take everything personal...he looks at it as hype so people will take an interest in this fight...because no one has given a **** about any of his last 8 years worth

I think Manny is just happy as a fan of the sport that someone is bringing some excitement back to the HW division.

Notice how Steward basically admitted Wlad is a boring fighter.

I know deep down inside MAnny would rather train Haye than Wlad.

Hes his type of fighter. The big right hand + aggressive

With the Klitschko's in there mid 30's he's probably thinking of his next training project.
Hayes only 28, be nice during the fight/s and maybe Steward can join the Haye team after Klitchko's retire.

Manny is trying to hype the fight so that it appears that Wlad is actually doing something when he knocks this bum out in 3 rounds.

Manny is a legendary trainer, has been in the Boxing business for so long, he knows the sport inside out & knows promotion, hype & exaggeration are part of the sport!

He knows Haye is not trying to make a personal attack on Wladamir, just promote the bout!

It has to do with culture I think. In a country like Ukraine they take things like this very seriously. That's why Wlad was also saying ''who is gonna be next on your shirt? My other family members like my father or mother?''

I had a few friends from the former Soviet Union and you better NOT say the word mother****er to them because that is like the worst thing you can say.
In the West however, since the last 5/6 years everybody's saying this to everybody like they're saying goodmorning.

I like Stewards approach a lot.
