Manny steward says wlad will be ready 2nd July

I dont think vlad has been denied the opportunity to fight more per year. He just doesn't fight many as his record suggest. If vlad want to fight haye so much as haye want him, why isn't coming out and say WHY the fight isn't happening next than to say 2nd July? There's no noise from them to explain this.

So what the Haye camp is currently claiming probably has a lot of truth in it as Vlad's camp hasn't come out anything to counter. Personally I dont think vlad is scare of haye or vice versa, could be money, venue and other things that we are not told about.

 

It wont happen i bet ya. ive lost all faith in this fight now

Its clear that Haye doesn't want it. No chance he ever signs to fight Wlad or Vitali.

 

I've not lost all faith because Haye is desperate when you consider all his remaining options and all are lacking (seriously, if Adamek fights Rahman as rumored and Chagaev is denied a license, his best-case scenario marketing-wise outside of the Klitschkos from one look at things is Povetkin). For that reason, this fight has a higher chance of occurring than Mayweather-Pacquiao at this point.

Bottom line is Mike Tyson fought 13 times in 1986..!!! There's 12 months in a ****ing year.......and Mike Tyson fought 13 times. This proves that it can be done, fighters in the past like Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard did the same too..........lets not make are sport a ****ing ***** sport.

Also i think Chris Eubank rematched, Michael Watson and Carl Thompson pretty quick too..........and those fights where wars.

Where not asking Wladimir Kiltschko to climb Mount Everest.

8 weeks is two ****ing months.

Wladimir will spark Derek Chisora out quickly, and if not..

It will be a nice 12 rounds of qaulity sparring.

Just imagine the kind of shape, Wladimir Kiltschko will be in physically and mentally........by July 2nd

I think its to his advantage fighting Derek Chisora leading up to David Haye.

He has never had to fight in that schedule before.
Wlads camp has given reasons the reasons for the Chisora fight. After what has happened in the past, they are covering their bases as they are not 100% sure that Haye will not pull out again.

 

Haye has already said that he wont take the fight now, it was then or never if they had confirmed the july 2nd then it would be a done deal but that is not the case, if Wlad is set on that he would be ready for July 2nd then why not get the fight done and sealed like he is supposed to be doing with Adamek in September

It's not now or never, Haye has few to little other options that bring in money. When you look at the WBA ratings, Haye's f*cked. Who else is he going to fight in London, Dennis Bakhtov? Juan Carlos Gomez? Sky can't sell them.

None of those guys are going to be a big draw for Sky PPV.

Haye's problem and it's a bigger problem for the heavyweight division in general is that all the top guys are pretty much eastern Europeans that outside of eastern Europe and Germany are mostly unmarketable.

 

So I take it Tyson was as big a ***** as the modern fighters once he became champ? Hagler too for that matter, they both went down to 4...3....2 fights a year when the won the title.

Or maybe its just that champions fight less often than fighters on the way up?:huh

(BTW if its just numbers you want without worrying whether the comparison is fair, Tyson fighting 13 times a year is nothing compared to a lot of the old timers)

 

And i bet Haye fights 2 of the above you have listed. Haye/Klitschko wont happen.

And they'll flop for the general public in Britain, which is the only place Haye has demonstrated he is a draw. What's the British casual boxing fan's opinion on the skills of Ruslan Chagaev or Alexander Povetkin?

No Klitschko fight. Rahman/Adamek gets made removing both of them from the equation, and Chagaev is denied a license to fight in the UK. Who do you think Haye fights next realistically?

because he's desperate for it to get made, otherwise he has take on a respectable challenger in a title defense that won't draw with the British public - the definition of "high risk/low reward"

Wladimir Kiltschko has got 2 months to spare. Nobody is asking him to climb mount Everest, or complete the tour de france straight after his fight with Derek Chisora. I personally don't see what the problem is here, well the only problem is that. Boxing in general is becoming abit of a ****** sport with this type of mentality, and fans like you at times.

We all know why Mike Tyson, did'nt fight so often as Champion. If you have red Frank Bruno's book, he mentions all of the chaos.

Chris Eubank rematched, Michael Watson and Carl Thompson in just over 3 months excalty. And them fights where wars....! he did'nt need 5 months between them wars.

Sugar Ray Robinson, Marvin Hagler all in the past they have fought in a similair time period.

The bottom line is, Wladimir Kiltschko facing Derek Chisora would be to his advantage in my opinion. Weather he sparks him out early, or inflicts a slow sustained beat down.

Its qaulity sparring, televised world wide.

By the time July 2nd comes, Wladimir Kiltschko will be in the best shape of his life, mentally and physically.

Do you know what, I could not give a **** about this fight/non-fight and what David Haye or the Klitchko's do for the next, say, 5 years.

I think he could fight Chisora and Haye within 2 months of each other as well but that Tyson stat you trott out doesn't really mean much when Tyson was no more active than Wlad in the same situation. It just shows that these days fighters on the way up fight less often when they become champions.

Joe Louis is a much better example of a Heavyweight champ who defended his title with 2 months rest between fights...
