Front Page of this site. Everyone should go read it. Great read.

Manny talk about information most of the trolls on this site only guess at. Key Points to this interview Geoffrey Ciani did.

(To me these are the key points that I took out of this interview, they might not be the key points the author wanted to make. But to me this is the key points I PERSONALLY TOOK out of this)

    - Wladimir was actually idolizing Lennox and learning from him even as early as 2000. That's why Wlad loved to fight on Lewis under cards.

-Manny still think Current Wlad is not as good as Prime Lewis when it comes to adjustments and changing his fighting style. HE DO THINK Current Wlad is more athletic then Prime Lewis and have better footwork.

    - Lennox on purposely dragged out the fight against Tyson because he wanted to punish Tyson

-Manny broke down Prime Lewis vs Prime Tyson very well. Bottom line, Lewis would have been too big.

-Lewis adjusted in mid fight, something very few heavyweights do. He said that Wlad rarely adjust (mainly because Wlad don't have to in this era)

    -

    - Lennox would have seriously injured Riddick Bowe if they had fought, because Lewis hated Bowe more then he hated Tyson.

-Lewis had Vitali figured out by the end of the 6th. Too bad Doctors stopped the fight.

    - The Hatred was real.

-Manny always say IN FRONT OF VITALI AND WLAD, Lewis would have won. Wladimir say nothing, but (I feel Wladimir agree)

    -Teenage Lennox intimated Teenage Tyson

-At the end of the 6th round in the Lewis vs Vitali fight
Lewis said 'I GOT HIM NOW' "I GOT HIM NOW'
    Then the fight was stopped

"" Lewis as a teenager was hanging out with Mike and he 'intimated Mike'
What people don’t realize about Lennox also, Lennox might appear to be this gentlemanly guy and this mother’s boy, but he was one of the toughest guys that I have ever dealt with. When we had the fight with Mike and they had the first skirmish or whatever you want to call it, when they had the press conference in New York—what people didn’t realize is, when they were giving all the praises to Mike and they started giving their praises to Lennox, Mike snapped! He charged across the stage at Lennox! But as soon as he got in range, Lennox was the one that cracked Mike! He hit Mike! He didn’t back away, and run, and all that stuff. Lennox was never afraid of Mike Tyson. In fact on another occasion when we were out, personally I won’t go into that, but Lennox intimidated Mike.

Lennox even as a teenager back in Kitchener, Courtney Shand and the guys tell me whenever they had some kind of a street fight, they’d always go home and get Lennox to come, and Lennox came in and whooped them all. Lennox was always a rough guy.""

there will be mega lulz with this quote:

“Mr. Steward, who would have won if that fight had of continued with Vitali and Lennox?”

I said, “Lennox was going to win that fight”.

It genuinely astounds me that people pick Wlad to beat a prime Lewis. I don't know how you can watch those two fighters at the peak of their powers and pick Wlad to come out on top.

Personally I tend to agree with you.

Emanuel, however, is always consistent in his views on these two.

A lot of people will try and "read into what he says", and they can wind up drawing any conclusion they want from that. Some believe he if you read between the lines he favors Wlad, others think he's pegging Lewis.

Emanuel is very clever in his balanced approach here, and having asked him this question at least half a dozen times the last 3 years, and knowing him fairly well, I still cannot get a proper gauge on his true feelings.

Ergo, I actually believe that Emanuel is genuinely expressing his honest views, and to be fair, that is certainly both logical and rational.

I think Lewis finds the mark with the right hand early, and I do not believe Wladimir reacts well to it all. In my personal opinion, I still believe an early KO win for Lewis is the most likely outcome, but Wladimir has tremendous talent and is super effective at what he does.

I just don't think with someone who has the tools and physical size of Lewis, that Wlad can keep him off for 6 rounds, let alone 12.

But that's just me, and I respect the views of those who disagree with me on that.

the mean, well prepared, angry version of lewis is a h2h nightmare for any fighter in history. hes very big, very strong, technically excellent, intelligent and not scared of anyone.

This. I can see people making a case for wlad but it doesn't seem to make sense for me. It's when people talk about marciano that bothers me- both wlad and lennox smoke him early.

Great read. Loved the interview. Its interesting how he says that when he's with the brothers and people ask him who would have won in the fight continued, he says Lennox. It must be a little awkward and funny at the same time to all of them.

Also he doesnt say that Lennox beats Wlad, he says it wil be an intriguing fight.

    +1

Lewis' record his a whos who of top tier fighters.
Wlad has cleaned out his era but his best wins are probably the Brewster remtach Peter and Haye.

Lewis had more tools and was a natural born fighter - Wlad is an athlete who can box very well
