2012 This content is protected amazing listening to that the way he also said he was not so sure about david price about his mental toughness and everything he said was true He knows his boxing he even said fury would be the dominant heavyweight after wlad he was right its just fury threw it all away..............
Great thread! I could listen to Emmanuel for absolutely hours when it comes to this sport. By god he knew his onions.
The prophecy was unreal Apparently when price came to camp manny sussed him out within days and knew he lacked the heart to be champion. Manny thought out of everyone in camp price/heleny/wlad/wilder/etc fury was the toughest and would take over
Fury definitely ain’t no joke. He was absolutely zoned in for the Wlad fight. I just wish he would have stayed on track so Wlad could have had the rematch he deserved.
I can remember watching early Fury days and everyone was saying he was a fat useles mess . I always saw the talent. He was throwing great combinations to head and body and moved around great, which didn't seem to be possible when looking at him.
When it came to the Fury-Price pick 'em, I never understood the logic in holding Fury's trips to the canvas or the matter of him taking longer to get rid of common opponents against him. Price was a big puncher and already in his physical prime, that helped him demolish the domestic meals in quicker time than Fury. Fury, meanwhile, had gotten valuable rounds in and gained the experience of climbing off the deck and surviving scares. Along with the contrast between Fury's emerging versatility and Price's wooden boxing, and that clumsy right uppercut that seemed to be begging to be countered (enter Tony Thompson), the Liverpool man's lack of decent seasoning was a factor in why I strongly fancied Fury to do a number on Price around 2012/13. And yes, Emanuel was astute. It's a shame on the doubters that they didn't pay more attention to the old Kronkster.
