yeah stewart is probably the most grounded one of them all on hbo, max kellerman is getting a little better, and lampley is just a comedian
Actually i liked Max better at HBO, he tries to much on HBO and he ends up messing up. Lampley with his:kenny:kenny makes me wonder about his sanity these days:think Get rid of Lewis and bring bag George. NEver thought id say it but i miss Merchant would like to hear him more.
btw there is no ****ing way manny is going up to 154, he doesnt even break 150 in fight night, he's perfect where hes at WW and dipping into occasionally jww
Sure you can criticize anyone you feel like. Even if it was the other way around, say you had Pac in the top 10 and Manny Steward had Pac in the top 25, as a Pac fan myself, I would respect Manny Stewards opinions more than yours, just knowing his background in boxing. I, myself, feel like Pac is in the mid to lower teens. But I'm just a regular boxing fan, so what do I know, right?
I am not gonna knock him like some people here and say he is out of his mind cause he is a well accomplished trainer. I don't agree with his stance on Pacman though and on the other hand I don't like the way he treats some of his fighters today. It only seems like he cares about Wlad now. Sometimes he won't stand with his fighters after losses when those fighters need him the most.
i cant stand manny....but on another note...Pac's done enuff to get consideration for top ten but i got eem top 25 easily
Not much I guess. Steward is a part of HBO. It does him no harm to boost Pac whenever he can. He was asked on the spot, I doubt he has a list but I wouldn't be surprised if he rethought his opinion out. There are so many more fighters more deserving of being ranked ahead of Pac. If he's in the lower teens he's ahead of many many great boxers.
Pretty much what I said earlier. Put on the spot, maybe doesn't sit and think about a set list and would think otherwise given time to critically think about it, and an HBO man. Not putting down Manny's opinion, but there are reasons to believe that it may not even be his opinion.
The last time I seen Stewards lise of the 10 greatest fighters ever, he had Tommy Hearns in there as well as some other questionable choices. Pacquiao has cracked my top 20 though.
