While I agree with Manny in that you need to throw punches it is not this simple. Manny does not have great coordination nor is he known to land high percentages of punches. Fighting Floyd and throwing leaves you open to counter punches especially when you come in off balance all the time like Manny does.

Manny does not have the jab nor the arm length and size to make Floyd fight his fight.

If you wanna talk real talk as to why he beats Manny it's not hard.

Floyd knows how to fight tall and long. He was taught this as a youngster and surley perfected it as he got older. Pac has a short jab and to disrupt Floyd you need to be/have 2 things.

1st you need a jab to mess up his pace and take the pace of the fight away from him. Manny does not have a long jab and brings it back low at times...Floyd's best weapon is his pull right counter where he consistently able to time opponents.

2nd you need to have strength (big shoulders also help) and be able to fight on the inside so you can push him around. Manny isn't strong on the inside by any means and likes to "dip out" (as we call it in the boxing gym) before an inside fight can develop.

Floyd's footwork is levels above Manny's and he takes angles off opponents much better. His footwork would control the pace of the fight along with Floyd's jab and counter right hands.

Floyd works off of YOUR mistakes. Manny likes to cross his feet when coming in...it looks like he is literally running at you while throwing wild punches...all good with a Margarito or a Cotto, but when you run into a counter puncher who can make you pay and keep you HANDCUFFED then it's going to be a long night.

Last is Floyd's defense. It will take a big man to crack it and this was something that has always been said before Manny beat Oscar. The commentators, trainers giving interviews, fighters, fans, media, etc etc... always said it would take a big fighter to beat Floyd. Manny is not big.

Floyd stops Manny inside of 10. To those who point out Shane or Marquez or Cotto...yea they don't commit to their punches like Manny. Manny overcommits a lot and I can see Floyd dropping his back foot when Manny does his little "running 1-2-3" and popping Manny with something he never sees coming.

Floyd TKO 10. Ref stops it on accumulation.

Not 1 Pacquiao fan commented on this...they stay away from this because they can't really troll with it and stay on the topic of it. They go back to saying he is scared etc etc...

He fought his heart out with Marquez 3 and Bradley..look what happened there. He got 1 official loss and 1 unofficial loss. Manny said in 24/7 with both men he woudl fight his ass off and that got him nowhere really.

Explain to me, in technical terms, what he could do. Throwing more and hitting air=Floyd pivoting off the backfoot and popping Manny with ease (counterpunching).

Floyd is a much better counterpuncher than Marquez who countered the **** out of Manny. Not to mention Floyd has about 4 times the amount of speed than Marquez and his hands would find Manny quicker when Manny runs in off balance.

Manny also uses 2 fights from 2007 to make his analysis in the interview (scene).

So then based on that, let's look at Manny's LAST 2 fights and not fights from 07.

1 He made to many technical mistakes with Marquez..the Manny that fought Marquez vs the Floyd that fought Cotto, Floyd probably knocks Manny out with something quicker and harder than the left hook at the end of the 4th by Marquez and the right hand that buckled Manny and knocked him back on his feet. If Floyd is throwing that it would land with quicker and the hand speed would be more than Marquez would have thrown.

I think Floyd beat PAC easily but I want to see the actual fight. It might be lopsided but still an interesting fight.

Does Manny still have KO power to catch Mayweather with a lucky shot on the chin? :think

Just as Hatton, Margarito etc were made for Pac Man, Pac is made for Floyd.
If you try to march through Pac, youre getting stretched.
If you time him lunging in, if you give him angles, and most importantly make him miss and make him pay, he looks absolutely clueless.
He knew he was losing the Marquez 3 fight, but had no idea what to do about it, yet people really believe hes the one to solve the mayweather puzzle????
    This fight aint even competitive.

Mayweather has already beaten, 10 rounds to 2, in Cotto, the biggest threat out there to him style wise.

He doesn't though. It's just Jim Lampley and Compubox worship him so it seems that way.

To be honest, I would have always picked fmj over pac... but the more time goes on the less of a chance I give pac due to styles, wear & tear etc..... pac had his best shot from 2009-11 & floyd knows this but he waited all this time that if they were to fight now & floyd won then he would deservedly get less credit.

Both guys ****ed up by not fighting when it mattered IMO... pac ****ed up because he was on a timescale both style & wear n tear wise, he had his best chance to beat fmj in those years.... floyd ****ed up because he likely could have beat any version of pac & no-one in their right mind could have labelled him anything other than great if he did it in 2009-11 but now he will rightfully be given less credit if it were to happen now.

Some Pac fans love to throw that around,he would have KO'd him, with not an ounce of real analysis just an empty statement..

No, a fight now is a slap in the face, its a watered down version to the fight we were denied, I`m not interested in 2nd best bull**** because those 2 ***s suddenly feel like giving us it now.

They ****ed up, their time is over, they are old news.

Floyd will surely win, but I'll be more than willing to bet anything that FMJ will not even come close to a TKO.
