Would/Could Manny Pacquiao be considered the greatest of all time if he was to beat mayweather? Thoughts

No. But the debate would be rousing. Especially if it was a KO.

Nope, if he's dominant he would be top 10, if he were to also beat Mosley dominantly he would be top 5.

It would be hopeless when you know **** about other ATGs and what they accomplish.

i would answer with what would make him better then SRL?

I think too many people saying he would be top 5 dont know enough about the people he would be replacing, and that is coming from someone who KNOWS he doesnt know **** about the greats of the past.

But a simple question would be what exactly puts him above SRL by such a long shot? SRL beat Hagler, Hearns, Duran, i mean... come on. Pac is a modern day ATG and legend but i dont think hes above a guy like SRL and i dont even like SRL.

he s already top 15 i say. this fight has put him in the duran class. he wins against floyd- who is also top 30 - then he might go even higher to top 10. beats mosely? top 5. to reach ATG status? i think he would need to do something that boggles the mind- like 10 straight defenses against good fighters at welter- or fight someone so large that he has no reasonable hope- like paul williams. then - should he do that- i guess he would have a very very strong argument for top 3 all time. its gonna be hard to knock off ali and srl- cos of how they fought. = but who knows?, maybe 10- years from now- people will be imitating how pac man fights- and his technique- he may change the style of boxing- the whole game- just as ali did, and leonard.

Theres no way hes not in the top 20 ATG NOW. Im not talking about ESB'rs but any refutable Boxing professionals would have him inside 20. Bert Sugar who doesnt like anyone born after 1950

7 weight world champ, a natural 106 pound guy growing to beat a 147 guy is astonishing in itself
