Manny vs fast fighters

As far as "fast hands" are concerned, Pac has faced them already in the lower weights.
What is fast in welter is pretty much normal in the lower weights both in handspeed and movement.

But that also means Pac was arguably faster then, so you really have to put Pac up there along the likes of Berto and May so we may once and for all see how his speed will compare against the fastest of his current weight.
But we already saw him spar against Khan though, so that's a fair indication already.

This is also why I think Mosley is a step forward in the right direction (excellent handspeed backed with power) while fighting JMM at welter is a step back.
I'm looking forward to at most the first 5 rounds of the Mosley-Pac fight, because let's face it, beyond that it's all Pac.:rofl

 

Compared to pac. he's too slow! DLH was considered fast at welter and got a draw with Floyd! Look how slow he becomes with Pac?

Floyd already got the Memo! Pac's too fast for him! That's why he's ducking!

 

How about Jorge Solis? He did pretty good in there.

 

most fast slick fighters hit soft.manny is speed and power, i think he would have trouble with fast fighters but i still think he would kock them out as well.just mite take a little longer.

 

Floyd is faster than Manny and he is a lot quicker from point A to B. Timing is everything kid and Floyd has the reflexes as well. By the way how is it ducking when a guy says take the test and we fight. If Manny is clean take the test and if he thinks he can beat Floyd then go beat him. Don't sue him.:deal

Pac's opponents were the cream of the crop! Pac's probably will end up as the greatest of all time! Nobody can match his speed. Everyone will look slow!

not all of them were cream of the cop.erik and mab were passed it but thats not his fault.everyone else was weight drained and fought him at made up weight classes with crazy stipulations in there contacts as far as weight is concerned.again aint manny fault, they have done a good job in picking his fights so far.

as far as speed goes, he never made jmm look slow.but everyone else he did but thats because they were slow.cotto,margo,hatton,clottey in that fight particular fight.

i wonder if he will make mosley look slow :huh

 

i just watched some berto film, and while i know he is often regarded as a hype-job, i would like to see manny deal with his style..and by that, i mean, he has a nasty uppercut, which manny doesn't like, and he will smother, hold, clench...and can make things ugly

 

i dont think floyd is that fast for punching speed,when he does throw more than a few potshots at a time hes not exceedingly fast,just very sharp and accurate.

 

MAB and Marquez have good handspeed but little in the way of footspeed, absolute speed is about handspeed, footspeed, timing and disguising the punch. Manny just hasn't happened to face any fast fighters, yes overall Sosa probably would be faster than anyone
