Manny doesn't rely on cutting off the ring because he's not a traditional pressure fighter. Mayweather did not show lateral movement against a past-it Oscar, Hatton, or Mosley. He walked Mosley down, which was great-he can utilize pressure well. He countered Hatton on the inside well-he's got a great inside game. He out-sped Oscar at 154 and used his jab well. Great. But he did not use lateral movement, and in certain spots, was betrayed by his habit to back up in straight lines, wait on fighters coming in directly at him, and leaning on the back-foot waiting for the counter opportunity. His ring generalship has become comfortable in a singular position. He has not pivoted out and initiated a combination, for example, or consistently circled an opponent, in recent years. His rhythm is just a bit stale in comparison to Pac's. Pac is good enough at fainting to come forward and confuse Mayweather by changing the angle and coming back with punches. Mayweather throws single jabs, which Pac has masted at avoiding and throwing a left through the guard. Once mayweather adjusts with his high-guard come-forward approach. Pac will counter with right-hooks and body shots. Hell of a fight, but I like Pac's dynamics over Floyd's textbook approach.
See you are that casual fan that I mentioned in the thread dude. Break it down as to why I am wrong. Hell, I pick Martinez to beat Floyd if they fight. Manny will lose a UD to Floyd now if you care to break down how Manny beats Floyd then do it. I don't have time to play with you kid. Go cross dress or something like you use to.
Do you think Floyd will initiate the action in this fight? Or will he wait for Manny to throw first and be content with countering Manny?
You act as if Floyd can't move and circle out if he has to. He spent his entire career doing the things you said he doesn't do. Against Manny you will see everything in his arsenal. Floyd's textbook approach is designed to take away Manny's dynamics. How do you take away angles?? Answer that for me.
He will do both. You have to understand that thing called range. Floyd can initiate the action from outside and he has the foot speed to get back as Manny comes in. He will do both.
I dont giva **** about what you think of me guy you are as relevant as the **** I took this morning and probably smell and look as bad too. I dont make these kind of threads because I, like you...have a strong bias and anyone with common sense which is roughly 2% of the general forum can see that you are trying to promote an agenda with idiotic logic. It would be like me using FLoyd's fight with Zab Judah as the reason why Pacquiao would destroy Mayweather.
There were a bunch of Beiber fans like you on here last night saying that Pacquiao was "shot, overtrained, should retire ect ect" because of his performance last night. Of course us Mayweather fans are salivating at the fact Pacquiao once against looked confused when someone moved away from him and just didnt stand in one spot.
I see that you still can't break it down so **** off. You are the one coming in here talking **** dude. Like look at every other post and see that everyone is acting like an adult except your punk ass. You can use the fight with Zab to show how Manny can use some of those mistakes Floyd made for a round or 2. Thats why I said break it down. Your breakdown as to how you think it will go is to be respected but to come on here and say I pick Floyd bc I am black is a ***** move bc your non boxing, casual ass can't break down what you have never done. Like Roy Jones said, " Don't talk abot it if you ain't off in it."
1. Mayweather will use his long reach and effectively use his jabs on the outside. 2. Mayweather has great upperbody movements that can put Manny's punches out of range. 3. Mayweather has his right hand ready for a counter. 1. Pacquiao has better footspeed that can sling his punches at great accuracy, 2. Pacquiao's weird punching angles together with his footspeed will put Floyd into confusion. 3. Pacquaio has great conditioning and can take his offense up to the last round. -If Floyd can negate Manny's footwork, Manny is in great trouble. Floyd UD Pacquiao -If Manny successfully confuse Floyd through darting in and out, throwing angles that can sting Floyd, Floyd may not see the 12th. Manny TKO11 Floyd
Yo I think I saw you on that show Hardcore Pawn last week. Pawning your PS3 for the 5th time over at American Jewelry.
I respectfully disagree with you on the foot speed and angles part. Floyd's foot speed is just as fast and everyone knows that Floyd has the best foot work in boxing. Foot work is what takes way angles and with the controlling of the range that Mayweather is a master at will take those angles away. Thats just how I see it. Hopefully we all find out. Manny fought his ass off tonight and he still can't cut the ring off for ****. He did what he is suppose to do though and I give him credit.
