Will Mayweather ever man up and fight Manny?..Or does he fight Tim Bradley who he kills in 5 round most likely..and then face Manny..Either way this fight has to happen!..And it would be a title fight..Manny had that fight with Bradley taken from him him..( I only gave Bradley 1 round barely)...I Despise Floyd Mayweather..Hes been fighting taxi cab drivers and toilet bowl cleaners long enough its time to make this happen..Go out undefeated Mayweather, or be a man and give it a shot...all the greats did it...and your not that great in my opinion

So the real question here is if This fight never happens..What happens to Floyds legacy? How will he be seen by true fight fans in 10 years?....

i think he'll still be considered one of the greats of his time but he'll be penalized for not fighting manny. may is probably the best 130 pounder i've ever seen. even if they fight now, i think people realize that both are passed their prime. if this fight had happened in late 2009, the winner imo, would have joined the pantheon of boxing greats. (btw, i think floyd wins if they're both in their primes)

Floyd will be rightly remembered as greater than Pacqiao.

He doesnt need to fight him, when he does he will take Manny to school.

It would added allot to his resume in '09-'10 and always an easy legacy fight in my view. Laying the blame on Floyd alone isn't quite right neither fighter/camp really seems to particularly want it unless they can control the money. Pacquaio/Arum has turned down 40million to face Mayweather and has walked away from a 50-50 with testing. Arum has made all kinds of excuses for it not happening and has quickly signed Pacquaio to easier matches

Floyd isn't that great. Probably the most overrated fighter of the last 20 odd years of boxing. Smoke and mirrors for the best part. The Pacqiuao fight has lost all relevance, they both get the same amount of credit for not fighting each other: none, regardless of who's 'fault' it was (that playground bitchiness means nothing to me when summarising a fighters career)

Azzer: your logic resembles that of a spastic, do one.

Pacqiaou is easily by far the most overated figther in years. All he is is smoke and mirrors. They handpicked his opponents and what happened when he was in with a real boxer? Marquez handed Pacqiao his arse.

If you think Mayweather is smoke and mirrors then you know absolutely nothing about boxingf and should go and follow another sport. Hes undefeated for a reason, and its because hes that damn good.

Boxing is the art of hitting and not being hit and Mayweather has perfected that to a T and thats why hes one of the greatest boxers ever

So you can suck my ****, Even better, why dont you suck Mannys....if you can find it

:deal I agree! Although this is likely a troll thread by the OP, and will generate many troll responses on both sides.

Why are so many people blind to the obivous fact that it has been Pacquiao not Mayweather or even Arum or Roach who has stood in the way of this match up?
Who agreed to the other guys terms of weights, ring and glove size? Who agreed to be subjecet to a large fine if over the agreed weight? Mayweather that's who
Who has flat out refused the other sides terms? Who has made unreasonable split demands after his stock has gone down? Pacquiao that's who.

No matter who was at fault for the fight not happening it hurts their legacies.

The thing is Flea as a Kalambay fan I'd assume you'd also appreciate Mayweather's skillset, in fact didn't you used to say you were a fan, or was that someone else?

I can only assume either the obnoxious persona or match making put you off

As for the most overrated of the past 2 decades, has to be Delahoya or Pacquaio for me

I think he's very good but 1 dimensional still, a hell of a 1 dimension but his skill level isn't that high and systematic boxing unravels him quickly. I've always said he's had a problem with counter punching, lateral movement and straight right hands. Backing him up if done properly would also take his game away from him.

He's had the right stylistic match ups post Marquez 2 through to Marquez 3 to make him look a million dollars that didn't show up his weaknesses.
