It can be to a story about the outraged medical community and how they reacted, a member of Oscar's camp talking about it, Oscar talking about it, Jim Lampley talking about it, a journalist for a boxing website talking about it, anything.

    Because he did it wrong that time, he wanted to stay light to improve speed, he was actually weighing less than 147 weeks before the weigh in. His body already adjusted tot he weight thats why he didnt balloon as much. Dont tell me you believed he actually rehydrated 2 lbs on fight night?

    If that happnes I will! If Cotto doesn't gain a pound after the weigh in, or get fined, I really will.

    But right now I think you and your "common knowledge" is the biggest heap of bull**** i've run into on this forum today, and that is saying something.

    What the **** is it gonna come to when a guy hates a fighter so much he makes up weird lies about him and propogates it like it's true?

    Well that explanation is VASTLY superior to yours, that Oscar signs a contract not to drink any water after the weigh in, and only you have heard about it even though it is common knowledge.

    Because he hadnt weighed 147 pounds in a proffesional bout since 01 , Gatti .

    A little research in sports science my friend !!!!!! , do you know De La Hoya was a Jr MW from 01 onwards ??? , and fought at 160 too ????

    I wouldnt normally ask that as a question to someone on this forum but with you i will as i somewhat question your knowledge of anything reguarding this sport .

    Anyway like i say , De La Hoya's body was rejecting the fluids as he was severley dehydrated 36 hours before weigh in to make 147 and subsequently weighed in at 145 .
